So apparently they are looking to Canada to find their new Head Coach...

Not saying that it is a bad idea, but I guess it makes the Eagles job a lot easier with the Bills and Chiefs locking up Head Coaches.

Great idea imo. A lot of great talent in Canada that gets overlooked. Nice move for a apathethic market like Cleveland but it would never fly in San Diego, Philly or Chicago.

They shouldn't have gotten rid of Shurmur. They were starting to win more then they usually do.

The Browns have become a tough out these days. They were playing hard and not easy to beat. But they weren't winning many games, they were just staying in them. I'm not sure if Shurmur could have gotten them to the next level or not, but I have doubts.

They won 5 games this year, more than their usual 4 such as in 2011. And as mentioned, there was perceptible improvement. One of the biggest problems they seem to have to deal with every year is the simple fact that they are the Cleveland Browns.

Not much worse than drafting a 27 year old tackle, who can't start over a guy off the street.

It's not as crazy as it sounds under tresman Montreal has been dominant in the CFL they remind me of the pats every season everyone under estimates them & says this is the year they get knocked off but they find a way to win. He has NFL experience as well as a co ordinator

San Diego is not a passionate football market. Not sure how you can throw them in the mix with us and the Bears.

didnt trestman coach the Bears awhile back?? I thought they had a coach with a name very close to that if not him

Thats a transit town... just like Tampa Bay. 90% of the people that live in or around San Deigo were born in other places but now live there. Espically in SD right now because that is a huge Naval base city. Thats why most people in that city are fans of other teams even though the Chargers were a good team from 2005 on, and almost making the SuperBowl in the 2007 season (or 2008?)
