He's a good coach man, not bad with Jerry Angelo as your GM. Lovie isn't my first choice but he's definitely a guy who should be interviewed.

I agree.  This man did 9 years in Chicago - no easy stint.  And he fielded winning teams more often than not.  His teams beat the Eagles during the latter part of Reid's reign here.

Lovie might not be the man to be the HC of this franchise, but if the F.O. has the opportunity to interview him, why not - even if just to pick his brain.

If he didn't draft the crap QB's, he also didn't put together a top defense with Urlackerz and Briggs et al.....

That's not true at all. I never said he drafted the players on defense, but that he put the defense together. Like I said, I'm not saying he's my first or even second choice but failing in Chicago under those circumstances shouldn't automatically disqualify him from HC here or anywhere else.

Ok, I might be jumping the gun a little here, but why is noone talking about trying to bring in Ray Lewis for a coaching job and/or coordinator job.  I mean noone in the league is saying anything about it. Since he is retiring.....I dont know of anyone that knows defenses better than that man. Just saying.

It;s ridiculous how skewed some people are towards young unproven coaches like say Josh McDaniels and Raheem Morriss were. 2nd times coaches like say Bill Bellichik have gone on to do some very good things.

Not saying one is definitely better than the other but you should consider all options.

I've rarely frequented TATE, so clue me in - what is with the 'z' at the end of names?       Is it supposed to be funny in some way?

Three playoff appearances in nine seasons and one playoff win since 2006.

Oh, yeah... let's sign him up before he gets away!

yeah but remember his starting QB went down twice and the defense actually kept them in a lot of games, if he can get a good offensive cord that's flexible and not stuck on one style and a solid coaching staff lovie would be fine

He would break my 'no retreads' rule, but all I know is that Lovie would be a major upgrade over what we had. He seems to believe in solid. fundamental football, and would immediately upgrade our defense.

Just get a legitimate OC to come in with him, and we could do a hell of a lot worse.   Like Jay Gruden.

thats why you get rid of that joke of a OC we have now and bring in Norv, Now him and Norv would make a good coaching tandem. all so bring in some quality coaches to help out with special teams and a new lb and db coach and were on the right track of getting the organization back on track
