Without mcnabb will you have the history you have recently? You should appreciate mcnabb everyday ...think about it what if you ended up with a qb like tony romo

When comparing divisons you have to look at how they play against out of division teams, and for a while the NFCeast has been bad at it

I'm shocked by how difficult this concept seems to be for some people. BG0 may, in fact, transition to some kind of pocket passer and enjoy a second career as a pocket QB, but it would be almost unprecedented. Transitioning from an option QB to a pocket QB is about more than arm strength and accuracy...it's learning how to play the game in a completely different way, seeing defenses you've never seen before, and fighting your natural instincts that have been committed to muscle memory over the last 15 years.

Didn't RGIII twice light up the Eagles from the pocket, including the one of the hardest throw for a td in the last meeting?

1. The Eagles were terrible.
2. You don't understand what I'm saying or what's involved in transitioning from a running QB to a traditional QB (hint: it's more complicated than you think and I've already explained some of the reasons why).

I appreciated the defenses we had through the McNabb era. He couldn't win the big one with that defense.
I appreciate McNabb for his time here, just as I appreciated Cunningham. Vick just made it painly obvious and cemented what we really already knew....we were never going to win a super bowl with these types of QBs.

How many superbowls have you won without these types of QBs?

Tell that to colin kaepernick lol.....if jim harbough wanted a pocket passer he would have gone with alex smith.....people like you still dwell on the vick's and mcnabbs and cunningham that you had playing for you....so you think u are some kind of expert in dual threat QBs..
Funny how you mentioned the eagles were terrible when it comes to RG3....but you never say the same about andrew luck and the teams he played against and put up horrible numbers on this season lol.....i really find that amusing

He's probably sitting at his computer with a **** eating grin on his face whenever he replies thinking "these guys are so dumb, I'm gonna post this," thinking he's smarter than everyone. It's kinda funny.
Maybe if you stop responding to the stuff he spews out he'll leave.

Vick is the man for all seasons. One minute, he's Dan Marino, the classic quick-release pocket passer. The next minute, he's Fran Tarkenton making it up as he goes along. The next minute, he's Bo Jackson barreling around the corner, too fast for the front seven to catch, too strong for the secondary to tackle. Nobody -- not Elway, not McNabb, not Steve Young -- has ever had that kind of package.
In the same article, some eerie foresight.

They call them hits, but we all know better. They're actually collisions -- violent, potentially bone-crushing, mind-altering confrontations with fate. With every hit he absorbs, every slide he disdains, you wonder about Vick's future. You wonder, with everything else God gave him, whether He drew the line at durability.
Yet, nearly 10 years and countless injuries later, many Eagles fans were still convinced his ever-mounting injuries were "freak accidents" and he was about to take the leap to pocket passer who uses his legs efficiently, rather than leaning on them to get through games.
Make no mistake, RG3 isn't the first QB to run around a lot and promise to "revolutionize the game". Most of the other ones make it past their first season before they tear their second ACL, but you get the point. It's a tough transition.
