So here it goes…my bold prediction for the 2013 offseason;

-   Eagles will hire Gus Bradley as their new headcoach;

I have a feeling Bruce Arians winds up in SD, Mike McCoy in Chicago, Todd Haley or Jay Gruden in Arizona and Brain Schottenheimer in Jacksonville. That leaves us with Brian Kelly, Lovie Smith, Mike Nolan, Keith Armstrong and Gus Bradley as the last men standing. The latter has the most upside.

Free agent aquisitions;

-   Glenn Dorsey, DT, KC Chiefs
-   Jarius Byrd, S, Buffalo Bills
-   Branden Albert, OT, KC Chiefs

If Byrd is franchised Dashon Goldson might become an Eagle. Gus Bradley could even make a trade with his former team for safety Kam Chancellor. Adam Levitre might get franchised by the Bills and that would make Jarius Byrd a FA. Branden Albert becomming a FA is an indication Andy Reid will go for Luke Joeckel in the draft. They pick him up cheap, simply because they already know they don't have a shot drafting Joeckel!

Restructure;

-   Nnamdi Asomugha will settle for a new contract around 6,5 mln a year and moves to safety (hybride).
-   Cullen Jenkins;
-   Jason Peters (10 mln a year is a lot for a player who’s been out for a whole year, right?).

Cuts;

Mike Vick, Demetress Bell, Kurt Coleman, Dion Lewis, Mike Patterson, Derek Landri, Danny Watkins.

Some of these player might get traded, some certainly will be cut.

Resign;

-   DRC;
-   Akeem Jordan.

Trades;

- Jeremy Maclin for Rams 3th rounder;
- Eagles trade picks/players for Seahawks QB Matt Flynn (4th rounder).

First 4 rounds of the draft

Shocker!!!

On the first day of the draft Andy Reid and the KC Chiefs select Luke Joeckel first overall! As a result the Eagles trade out of their 4th spot (to Arizona, NY Jets or SD) and reveive an extra second in return.

Round 1

With the first pick in the draft the Eagles select;          Chance Warmack, Guard, Alabama

Simply BPA with the 7th, 9th or 11th pick in the draft.

** Eagles trade back into the bottom of the second round using one of their second rouders and a 5th **

With the ?? pick in the draft the Eagles select;          Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State

Gus Bradley wants at least one physical presence at CB and the Eagles trade back into the backend of the first round to select one of the most physical of them all...

Round 2

- With the 35th pick in the draft the Eagles select;   Barett Jones, OT, Alabama

OL depth...could play at every position on the line...

Round 3

With the 67th pick in the draft the Eagles select; Gerald Hodges, OLB, Penn State

Future starter at Strongside linebacker...

With the 78th pick (from Rams) in the draft the Eagles select;   Da’Rick Rogers, WR, Tennessee Tech

Big target, future number two receiver...

Round 4

Pick traded to the Seattle Seahawks for QB Matt Flynn

Roster;

QB’s; Foles, Flynn, Edwards
OL; Mathis, Peters, Kelce, Albert/Herremen, Warmack and Jones will be all over the line...
RB’s; McCoy, Brown, Polk
WR’s;    Jackson, Cooper, Avant, Rogers, McNutt and Johnson
TE; Celek, Harbor
FB; Havili;

DT; Cox, Jenkins, Thornton, Dixon, Dorsey
DE; Graham, Cole, Curry, Hunt, Tapp
LB’s;   Ryans, Hodges, Kendricks
CB’s;   Rhodes, DRC, Boykin, Marsh,
S;    Byrd, Asomugha, Allen, Anderson

You don't restructure a players contract because he was injured for a year. Lol. It actually sounds illegal.

You're 1st 3 picks and 5th pick, and Nnamdi situation are identical to mine. Hmm.

I don't like keeping DRC if you want physicality.

You don't get a starting tackle for "cheap" in the NFL. He will probably want a 5 yr contract earning 9+ million a year.

I don't think Nnamdi can play S I think we need to pick up Elam as well as Rhodes in the draft. I like Gus as HC

I'm ok with this.  Who is your OC?  I think that's a real key, especially with Bradley being the de facto DC.

We picked up an OT in FA why in the world you u draft 2 OL with the firsf 3 picks.. Secodary Secondary big target WR not in that general order. Then pick up an OL later on.. any team that has 4-5 starters go down by week 8/9 is gonna have a pretty ****ty year j/s.. our d-line and rb position is one of the best.. secondary is one of the worst..

Why would the Jets, Cards, or Chargers make that trade up to #4? Who do those guys want so badly at #4 that they don't think they can get 6 later?

You're giving up Maclin for a 3rd round pick? That is ridiculous. I don't care what he is worth on the trade market, i would never do that

This whole team Inconsistent. Not just Maclin. This has been the most horrendous offensive season I've seen from the eagles in a decade.

Don't give Maclin away for a 3rd, too little. He's better than a lot of people think.

A 3rd round pick is very realistic for Maclin. Its easy to overvalue home town talent.

i don't care. You don't trade a player like Maclin for a 3rd round pick.

What are you going to get? A Rotational Defensive Tackle?

I'd keep Maclin, Lewis and Watkins. Watkins wasnt great but would be a good back up. Lewis is a good back up RB. Polk can't stay healthy. Maclin is our best receiver I wouldn't trade him.

A 3rd rounder would be highway robbery for Maclin.  For the team that gets Maclin.  I wouldn't even think about trading him for a late 1st rounder.  Would be a terrible move.

We drafted him at 19 overall, 3 years ago. You don't just go and give him up for a 3rd because your offense sucks lol.

atleast the 7th ended up being Bryce Brown... once he gets his fumbling under control he'll be a great RB
