Well, the good news for Rex is he can start preparing his strategy for getting a new job right away.  He'll be very prepared next offseason to work on getting that next job.  The new Jets GM can start preparing to make a top pick in the 2014 draft, which will help them long term.

I don't understand why Eagles fans would be excited about this. Marty's contract is up in a few weeks and won't be rehired. He's already gone.

i dont agree with that statement. MM has a fairly good track record with QBs and he is much better than anyone butt fumble has worked with in his pro career.
