Yeah I know, all these subjects have been beat to death individually. Sue me I'm bored, and I'd like to see some of these opinions consolidated.
Let's play a game. Pick one head coach, one assistant coach, one free agent to sign, one current player to re-sign, and one draft pick. Basically a watered-down off-season mock. Try to be reasonable if possible (eg Lovie Smith/Norv Turner are not going to work under a young HC, we are not going to sign Mike Wallace, The Bills are not letting Jairus Byrd get away etc)
HC: Gus Bradley- I don't care offensive/defensive coach, I just want the BEST coach. No retreads, no ovverrated college coaches. Just a young extremely promising football mind who can get the best out of his players. Wouldn't mind Brian Kelly either but I genuinely think all this talk is posturing for more money.
Assistant: Hue Jackson- Since I got a defensive HC I went with an OC. The popular pick is Shurmur, but I would prefer Hue Jackson. This is a difficult decision since his brand is so different from what we're used to, but I think he could be extremely effective with an improved OL and McCoy/Brown at his disposal. It would mean we need to get a solid QB guy to develop Foles though.
FA: WIlliam Moore - With Grimes becoming a FA as well I think Moore is the best defensive player available that has a shot at hitting the FA market (except arguably Avril).
Re-sign: DRC- Bottom line, I don't see us being able to find a decent replacement for both him AND Nnamdi. I don't like it but maybe Gus can get him to play up to his potential.
Draft: Luke Joeckel- Arguably the best player in the draft. Yes our OL will finally be healthy this year but huge questions remain. Best case he takes over at RT initially, Herremens moves to his more natural position at RG to push Danny Watkins. Worst case scenario, Peters never returns to form after his injury and we need a now cornerstone on the blindside. Regardless I don't see us having th chance to draft a player of his caliber for a long time.

HC: Gus Bradley
Assistant: Rod Marinelli, either as a DL coach or defensive coordinator. The Bears defense played well with him as their coordinator and it was more aggressive than some may have seen in a long time.
FA: I'm gonna go with Alan Branch. If the Eagles wanna implement the Hybrid scheme that Bradley would more than likely bring, they're gonna need some players who'd be able to play in both the 3-4 & 4-3. I think Branch fits that.
Re-sign: Jake Scott. I believe he's a more than capable backup along the interior offensive line. The guard position is still up in the air and they'd need somebody who can help stabilize a shaky OL from a year ago.
Draft: I'm gonna go with Jarvis Jones. The Jaguars & Raiders have a few question marks on offense, I don't think they'll look at defense but it's still too early to say. Plus the Raiders make weird picks anyway. Also the reasoning for Branch could apply here.

Hmmm, didn't really think about Marinelli but he would be a fantastic pick up. I assumed the Bears would keep him but I guess that depends on the HC they bring in. I like the thought behind Jones/Branch as well. When people mention switching to a pure 3-4 I get a little nervous since I don't think we have the personnel to make it work. However, I do think we have some young players that could go either way (Cox and Kendricks come to mind), and bringing a guy in like Jones could solidify a very dangerous hybrid system. I guess you could make a similar argument for Star Lotulelei too. It would be very hard for me to pass up on a potential franchise LT though.

HC: Vic Fangio
Assistant: Whoever Fangio picks, hopefully someone who can help him with the offense.
FA: Jairus Byrd
Re-sign: DRC
Draft: Joeckel
This is really unlikely since we haven't even interviewed Fangio, so just replace Fangio with Bradley if you want a more realistic one.
