Shout Out to Chase the Fan for posting this first in the Eagles blog Thread.  But this seems noteworthy enough to merit its own thread. Someone's getting a second interview.

Pat Boyle@CSNBoyle
It sounds like decision time for Brian Kelly.. Source says Eagles Jeffrey Lurie's plane is in Chi.. ND early enrollees start class Monday

Boyle, who used to be with CSN Philly, points out that Lovie Smith is in SD.

at this point I'd rather and NFL assistant. I didn't want him as HC but I'm mildly disappointed Norv Turner was already snatched up. He and Lovie as our coordinators would have been great.

Some of us were talking about it on Twitter hours ago, this will probably be settled today or tomorrow one way or another as Kelly needs to get to work if he is staying at ND...big time for recruiting and ND's all in a tizzy over it.

I would be thrilled if we got Kelly, the guy is a great coach and I think he is going to do well in the NFL.

Both Eagles and Chicago have interviews in Atlanta with Seattle's assistants. He is probably just picking up a fellow owner.

Yes whatever it was nobody else picked up on it though i did see it retweeted hours ago. Albert Breer just tweeted that the eagles will be interviewing Bradley today in Atlanta so who knows if it was ever true

I don't think Chicago's owner needs to be "picked up". It was one thing if Chicago was between Philly and Atlanta but that's not a direct flight. My guess is both sides want to come to a determination today if Kelly will be the HC of the Eagles or not and if not it's on to Atlanta to interview Bradley.

I know a lot of fans are on the Gus Bus but to me if you get a chance to get Kelly you have to jump at the opportunity. I know I saw the video of Gus and he is fiery but that kind of yelling at players only goes so far and then the players start tuning you out, all you have to do is look at what happen with Mike Singletary.

They also could have been interviewing someone else we haven't heard about yet like Dave Toub. There is basically no confirmation of anything about this report.

Big mistake if he does....if he hires a college coach,we are gonna be at the bottom of the NFC East for a longggggggggggg time.

Yeah so far it is one source (not saying Boyle isn't right) since late last night but Schefter reported they were expected to talk again so I don't think it really matters either way where the talk takes place if Schefter's report was right. I just think Kelly's going to be under fire at ND with recruits so it would probably be resolved soon whatever the outcome is. I wouldn't be optimistic he's leaving but you can't rule it out and as Tommy Lawlor explained on his website, it's not out of the question.

More about talent...don't think we're going to be a big contender in the NFC East for a couple years at least no matter who it is. But the NFC East isn't that great either. Last time I checked every one in NFC East is sitting and watching.

Very true. The latest coaching changes/playoff teams have shown that it is very possible to turn around a teams fortunes in a short time

the seahawks defense has sure started to tune him out.... and i seriously doubt Gus is constantly yelling at his players, because i doubt that works....and his defense is obviously working right now. Trotter also said Gus is fiery and yells when he needs to but not all the time.

I hope it is not kelly.

Saban got destroyed in the NFL. He destroyed Kelly in the bcs game. Kelly did not even look like ND belong in that game

In Gus weTrust!
