I am just glad both lost :D

Even if Rodgers played better their defense was atrocious and has been since the 2011 season.

Kaepernick is a total stiff. Can't see him ever winning a SB.

Damn, i just saw this on NFL.com

Kaepernick ran for 181 yards against Green Bay

To repeat: No quarterback has ever rushed for more yards in any NFL game. Kaepernick did it in his first playoff appearance.

C.K. should see RGIII about how to enroll in Dr. Andrews' frequent patient program. Pay for 3 knee surgeries, get the 4th one for half price (or something like that).

Manning might of thrown a timely pick but it's all on his defense who gave up play after play after play. Anyone of us could of scored a long TD today with the way they weren't covering anybody.

Exactly. Giving up a 70 yard TD with 41 secs left in the game on 3rd down?

In the playoffs?

Eli>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Peyton

All.Day.Long.

And I LOVED seeing GB go down like that. Hilarious. Now I'm just hoping Seattle takes care of ATL and drops SF hard next week. Cant stomach Jim Harbaugh, and I dont want him winning a thing.

Too bad Eli hardly makes it to the playoffs. He's probably the most overrated qb in the NFL at this point.

Why are u using logic instead of blind hate? Let's all blame Peyton!!

If Broncos secondary didn't let Flacco abuse Bailey(sp?) they probably would have won because Rice wasn't doing much. I was amazed they didn't do something different in the second half to stop that

Next time the E's see the playoffs, we'll probably have a new president in Washington (and this guy now hasn't even been sworn in for a 2nd term!)

BTW-The E's getting turned down by every coach in creation is very amusing..they should just hire a clown like Gruden or Billick and get it over with already,,,

Will only work over the long term if your backup can come in and run it. But to win one superbowl, I guess it could work as long as you have the luck of being healthy AND you have SF's defense.

If Peyton's defense only gave up like 17ppg in the playoffs like Eli's did Peyton would have won too.

something you giants fans never get (unless you can use it to excuse Eli's poor play) is that it's a team game. As well as Eli has played in the 4th quarter of some big games (and I'd take Eli over any other QB int he NFL with 2 min to go and needed a TD), he has never gone out there when his defense has ished the bed and won a big game for them (ie playoff game), so how do you sit there and blame Peyton or any other QB for not being able to?

Because I can. Regardless of who you or anyone else thinks is at fault, Peyton has always come up short in the playoffs, with one lone exception. No excuses. Eli has gotten it done in the playoffs more than Peyton has. Peyton is still the superior QB, but not in the playoffs. I dont give a damn about stats either. W's are what matters.

And besides...didn't you just make an excuse for Peyton? His defense didn't do enough? C'mon...

far as ive ever anecdotally been able to tell, the Colts defense always stepped up their games in the playoffs. they played well, and then Peyton didnt

Fads last longer than a few months. The read option will eventually be laughed at like the wildcat is now.

He was tossing a lot of Ducks! I'm already tired of seeing the pistol packages and option plays.

The Packers should have had Matthews spy Kap all game. Bad coach! Shoulda did a better Job.

I completely agree with this. My sig tells the story, lol. It's "cute" that every few years, some new super athletic fad takes the NFL by storm only to disappear into the night.

I cant say anything about Kaepernick, but in the case of Joe Flacco he is right there when it comes to being eleite IMO. If he gets the Ravens to and win the SB this season I think he will be eleite.

This is only his 5th year in the NFL and this is his 3rd AFCCG. He has been to the playoffs every season and won atleast 1 game each postseason. He has the nfl record of most career postseason road wins. He may not put up huge #'s in the regular season. He just wins when it matters. The only thing he hasnt done was win a SB, and I think everything has fallen into place for the ravens to win the SB this season and watch Ray Lewis AND Ed Reed roll off into the sunset
