Good for Andy. He deserves this after all the stuff he went through here.

He's getting pampered and we can't even find someone willing to take the job.

That was nice, but I wouldn't call that going "all out"

5yrs contract, total control of football operation and a commercial.

hehe and a commercial. But yea I mean they are giving him the keys to the city.

It'll be interesting to see what he can do. 5 yrs doesn't seem too bad

Good for Andy he deserves it. He'll at the very least make them competitive. I'll be rooting for him to win a bowl there. Hopefully not before us. But I can't see it happening. He'll pry have them in the playoffs in year 2 or 3 though. He's got a pretty stable 3 years there. No one is expecting playoffs over there until that time frame. Which I'm sure he can do in that division.

We'll see how they're doing in year seven of the five-year plan.

KC is a proud franchise with a loyal fan base that hasn't won a playoff game since 1993 when Joe Montana and Marcus Allen were there. Andy is a very successful coach, turned around one franchise into a contender, rebuilt, kept them stable and in contention for many years so I would be excited too. I just think he needed a fresh change, a re-start. Was overhwelemed with all the crap that came his way the past few years. He seems to be assembling a interesting staff. Not sure about Pederson as OC when they also are going for Tony Sparano as o-line coach. Of course they also play in a division where SD and Oakland have major questions. KC has a lot of young talent and were expected by many, including myself to be a wild card team this year. Andy needs a QB. Is Geno Smith the answer or will he look elsewhere? Not a ton of options this year.

Keep telling yourself that..The E's are getting jerked around by every coach from coast to coast..no one wants the job...

Also, shouldn't you be cross referencing the condensed NHL schedule with open dates at the Wachovia Center and then take it a step further and go into how it will affect parking at early season Phillies games??
