In a Pass first League. The 3-4 is provides the defense with better base coverages.

It doesn't matter what defense you run. If you have the right personnel, you can run any defense and be dominant. Right now we have the personnel to run a 4-3 and have a chance to bolster that with #4 in the draft. Why would we change it up now? It doesn't make sense.

No. You have the potential for a 3-4 if all else fails with everything else. You can put him at 4-3 DT with Cox and see magic unfold. He has versatility to be a NT or a 4-3 DT.

I definitely agree that Star would be a great NT fanbirth, but he would also be a great DT in our system right now. In a couple years and our 4-3 just sucks, sure switch to a 3-4. But right now, switching would make Ryan's, cole, graham, etc. out of position. There's no reason to switch to a 3-4 right now until it is necessary to do so.

Yeah, we sure do set trends. Like a 4 year downward spiral ending with the firing of the most successful coach in franchise history, and offense so enemic that it couldn't score against the worst defenses in the league and a defense with holes big enough to drive a dump truck through.

Our defense sucks. 4-3, 3-4? Doesn't really matter. Its gotta be rebuilt from scratch anyway so if a change is going to be made, might as well be now. Either way, its going to depend entirely on who is hired as the next head coach and what direction he wants to go in.

So take your ignorant pride and bury that crap. The Eagles defense will be whatever the coach decides, not some imagined tradition because Reggie White once played for the Eagles.

No, it's what the new coach decided to go with. I don't give two squats what defense the Eagles have going forward, as long as its a Break-A-Mofo's-Nose tough. The requires a complete rebuild because 95% of the Eagles roster is made up of soft cupcakes with big egos and little jockstraps.

Why can't I be a proud fan of the great 4-3 and 46 defenses of the past? Why do I have to bury my pride? F that!!
