Unbelievable blabber without the results once again are becoming the THEME around here as an organization. Completely and whole heartedly disappointed in this organization and the way their running things for a few years. It has fallen HARD and FAST from being run as a top shelf NFL ORGANIZATION.

Is it me or does Jeffrey Lurie continue to put his foot in his mouth. Goes out on a limb and says this is the most wanted/appealing/attractive head football coaching vacancy in all of football. The results are saying just the opposite of his before mentioned self constructed overrating that he's been doing for awhile now. Kinda reminds you of Andy Reid and his decisions lately.

Why did the FO want College coaches so badly? It had to be a huge kick to the n-ts that they all turned them down and the icing is that it's all out in the media and the whole world knows that the Eagles are now DESPERATE. The FO has already more or less made it obvious by admitting that they have spent the majority of their efforts and that they were their first choices and now will have to more or less settle on someone else. Glad the plan is coming together!

Most college coaches will take a job in the NFL without asking for full control like an NFL coach would and thats what jeff and howie want. It's to bad the word is out around the NFL about Howie now it will cost jeff more money to get a guy now!

They keep saying that the new HC will have final say and only report to Lurie. So most likely the same Power Reid had. Weird part is that Lurie himself said he only holds Roseman responsible for the 2012 draft. So if the coach has final say then why is Roseman responsible for that draft at all???? What did Lurie mean when he said he streamlined last years draft????

It's you. And "candidates" has two "d's" in it, unless you are talking about former NFL RB Trung Canidate.

I'm sorry ... missed the question here. What is the complaint, exactly? Who did the Eagles miss out on?

The poster was obviously venting. Dave is right --- where is the question. You get enough people on the site regarding the interview process and someone will come up with something that to him it's worthwhile posting. We are fans - not involved at all with the Eagles organization in any working capacity. Let's just see what happens. Really people, it's not life or death and hopefully you life is not wrapped around a football team.
