This whole HC hiring process.....

Let's all get a grip and wait and see what they do. Lurie is doing exactly what he said he was going to do and so far it has played out that way. Can't blame him for trying to get 3 of the best college coaches in the game. What's wrong with that? You lay down the loot and let the guy decide. They all decided to stay. And now it looks like the favorite (Gus) of the fans may actually be materialzing. Let's grow up people.

coordinators or assistants got a head coaching job only to flounder?
Trying to find a guy who is organized, thorough, disciplined, that has a vision for all 3 phases of the game, reputation to build a coaching staff, with a
good resume, not to mention, the ability to work with a GM and the owner must be very difficult to find. And I'm sure some teams don't go into as much
depth as other teams.

Except for that bolded part.

People need to relax. Only three teams have hired a coach so far... KC took the guy we canned and Cleveland took a guy who wasn't even on anybody's radar. Buffalo got Marrone, who I actually was pretty high on, but seemed like maybe he just wanted to stay in the upstate NY area. He jumped on that Buffalo job awful quick which is just a short drive away from Syracuse.
Arizona, Chicago, San Diego, Jacksonville are all still without a coach.

This is where you went wrong.
Anyway I'm a fan of the search. Interviewing as many people as possible. I don't care what the media says; no one is talking about the Cards, Bears, or Chargers taking so long with their search. I guess their GMs aren't liked by anyone in the league.

I still trust the Eagles to pick the right guy, but the longer I wait, the more nervous I get. I won't fall off the wagon until Gus Bradley is no longer a possibility.

Only 3 teams so far have replaced their HC's. KC, Cleveland and Bears. So guess those other owners and GM's don't know what they are doing either. Or guess no one wants to go there .
I think Mr Lurie knows what kind of man fits his requirements. We can want this guy, or that guy all we want. But none of us has the future of this franchise at stake like he does. So it is imparitive that he does a thorough search to make sure he selects the right guy. And not care who outsiders think he should hire. It's his team not theirs.
Whomever it turns out to be, I intend to support him and the cast of assistents he brings with him. If you are a true Eagle fan, than you'll do the same...if not, than you won't.

Within the next month we'll have our new coach. Whomever that is some of the fans will get to know and like the guy and some will already hate him. It's just the way sports franchises work. We all have opinions and unfortunately we all feel they are valid.

Then in reality we go after the HOT college coaches with no real idea what they are looking for or any idea what power the eagles are willing to give, go all out, get rejected and look like the dooooshbag with no date at the prom.... LOL
Then interview everybody that ever thought of coaching, old, new, but skip the only one (through spokespersons and co-workers) that outwardly spoke of actually wanting the job... (Jon Gruden)
Just get the right guy and quit looking like schoolkids getting schooled, the negotiations didnt even begin yet... !!!!!!

Basically how I feel. I really want resolution, but anyone who looks at this realistically can't expect it to be finished this quick.
I mean guys like Bradley and McCoy really only have the free time for a thorough, in depth interview starting today. People can't have unrealistic expectations.

Yeah exactly. I heard no one beat the drum for Chudzinski and at best, I heard mild curiosity about Marrone. Neither hire would have went over well here, so it's a bit of a mystery to me what all the complaining is about.
