But, really, Dave. We're hearing names like Billick and Whisenhunt. If we're really looking at these guys, isn't it only fair we give Jon Gruden a passing look? I'm sure you've heard a lot about the name, but for me (at least speaking for myself,) it was never about the name. It was always because of what he did for the Oakland Raiders when he was there. I just think that honestly, we're interviewing everyone else except the person that needs to get interviewed for the Job. In my opinion, it should be between Bradley, Arians, and Gruden.
I really think, that if the reports are true, we're really not doing what we should be. At all.
Dave, I hate to bother you on this.

Whisenhunt isn't a bad coach, the problem there is the owner. The Bidwells have to be among the bottom 5 in owners. While he's not at the top of my list, I could not be disappointed in getting him. Billick on the other hand...

We'll see..........I really suspect that Howie is a bigger factor than the Eagles will admit. That, and the fact that nobody is sure if they have a franchise QB or not.....with no apparent solution if not.....this is a risky job to take.

Well, if Jeffrey Lurie actually gave final say to the head coach, then this head coaching search wouldn't be taking so long. I think we should trade for Matt Flynn to compete with Nick Foles for the starting job, you agree?

At this point, they can bring in whoever they want to compete for any #1 job except maybe HB. Personally, since 1960 was so long ago, I'm ready for the Eagles to follow the Cowboys/Colts script....when the next great young QB is coming out....take a regular season dive and get him. The road is much easier after that.

Thanks for the opinions. Appreciate them. I understand them. I think the Eagles will get a great head coach in here, no matter who it is
