Tebow could have won a Super Bowl with the '06 Colts too.
Chiefs scored 8 - Green passed for 107 and 2 picks.
Ravens scored 6 - McNair passed for 173 and 2 picks.
Pats scored 31 (24 without the pick 6) - would have been the only challenge.
Bears scored 17 (and gave up a pick 6) - Grossman threw for 165 and 2 picks.

The Colts ran for 604 yards in those 4 games.
They gave up 331 rushing yards.
Yeah, it was all Peyton.

How do you win a SB with a sub par QB who launches 7 INTs and 3 TDs?
The opposing QBs put up 7 INTs and 3 TDs as well.

I highly doubt that. He is a draw whether he is a good player or not. There are lower tier football leagues that will welcome attention from his fans. The USFL was being talked about a little while back, I could easily see him there or in the CFL

Yes, I do as well. Manning didnt put up huge #s throgh that postseason... he didnt need to either. Only the NE game would have been the only game IMO that they might have possibally needed Peyton IMO

You can say that about MANY teams and quarterbacks. Did the Steelers 'need' Bradshaw? No. Did the Cowboys 'need' Aikman? No. But they ere the QBs that won those Super Bowls, and so was Manning. Those hypothetical situations where 'the Colts could have won without Manning' are useless because you don't know how the team would be structured without those players. You don't know if those teams would be as good without those players.

With those salaries you usually have to pick up a second job in the offseason so the car wash still wouldn't be out of the question.

The problem is with Tebow at QB in 2006 the Colts would have been lucky to make the playoffs let alone win the SB...So quickly people are to point out his post-season problems, which are true, but not the reason they lost to the Ravens in the slightest...But they fail to remember that without Peyton and his 4397 yards 31 TDs and 9 INT that team doesn't go 12-4 and struggles to even make the playoffs...So basically, anyone that thinks the Colts win the SB in 2006 with Tebow is retarded

I promise you, if he gets the FO to go and trade for Tim Tebow as our starting QB I will call for him to be fired right then and there and it he isnt I will become a fan of another team until he and Tebow are both gone from my beloved Eagles.

Tebow is gonna be out of the NFL. Honestly, he's a victim of his own hype. He could probably be a good role player/gimmick guy/special teamer, but no team is gonna want to put up with the circus that comes with him. Every time their QB has a bad game they have to deal with a million stupid Tebow Qs. Honestly, the only teams that could even consider taking Tebow would be teams like the Packers, Saints, Pats etc. who have QBs who are locks. But even then, would they honestly want him as their backup? So Canada it is.

The Jags badly need a player like Tebow because of tne hype he brings. Of course their new GM seems smart enough to know that even though he will fill the seats he sucks as a player. I know the owner really loves him and Mularky hated the idea of adding him. I guess the owner really is a man of his word and will step back and not get involved like Jerry Jones or Daniel Snyder.
