There are no conclusions to jump to, but with the news that the Eagles are set to interview Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley for the second time on Tuesday, it's fair to say there is a palpable sense of excitement in the air ...

"because the team has obviously lived up to its promise to search in all corners for candidates and to inquire and extend itself and the three-man team of Jeffrey Lurie, Howie Roseman and Don Smolenski to great lengths to find the right man. If that means there are more coaches to interview, so be it. The job is to find the right coach for the job, no matter how long it takes."

If the Eagles continue to diddle around, some other team is gonna hire "... the right coach for the job..."

Does anybody know? Is Gus Bradley a Michael Vick kind of guy? If we could build our new team around Michael Vick and his tremendous skills, we can score a lot of points.

I'd be happy with Gus Bradley or Mike McCoy.

The Eagles release selected info regarding which coaches have been contacted. As Jon Gruden was their OC years ago, I believe as a professional courtesy the organization would have contacted him. When the selection process is over I think all contact info will be released unless the contactee requests otherwise.

no, it's not a dream.

Most logical one of the group. RT @WallacesOwner: @caplannfl If Bradley turns down the Eagles today, is Wisenhunt their fall back option?

We will have a coach by the end of this week, the time bomb is ticking on 3 headed monster, this week is the week for sure. We are getting Gus Bradley for sure, he is the only candidate who is interviewing twice and they even cancelled the meeting with Bruce Arians. "In Gus we Trust"

If Gus is the HC and will most likely call our Defensive plays, who do we bring in as the OC? I certainly don't want MM to call plays anymore. Maybe Ken Whisenhunt?

I have a good feeling about Bradley. His energy and discipline might be just what this mess of a team needs.

@ shackle and the 2 ppl who liked his comment......why cant u guys let go of michael the turn over machine vick????? this offense can score alot of points? when?? idk what is the obsession with vick? he hasnt won anything , his career is full of turn overs, hes a horrible decision maker, just started watching game film, makes bad defensive reads..and yet u clowns still are hoping he will be sum amazing qb at 33 years old. get off it already, he is only good for a highlight ,. do u want a highlight once in a while or play off wins???

If Philly lands Gus Bradley I have no clue who he brings or who he will want as his OC....But I do believe who ever he gets he will want to be a run first team which should be good because the strength of are team as of right now is are RBs....

Vick was another Huge Mistake on the Shoulder of Andy Reid ... Quick fixes Never work ... Remember the Free Agency signings over the last 2 yrs .... 8 - 8 to 4 - 12 ... Back up my point

Mccoy nearing a deal with SD that is a little surprising I thought they were going to go for Arians.... Wonder if his health issues might have been a concern for them????

>>BG93: my understanding is that Arians had the flu. it wasn't terminal.

Gus Bradley seems to be the popular choice. From that angle, Lurie is giving a sop to the fan base. Hoping he is the best candidate. No doubt he boned up on his "debits and credits" before the first interview. Assuming Bradley does reach an agreement to become the Eagles HC...his staff will be an immediate concern. And, setting expectations for Gus(or anyone)...8-8 might be a realistic record for 2013. Anything less would be disappointing.
