Do you folks just act like you know exactly what is going behind the scenes in these meetings? It's hilarious.

Kick rocks dude

There is little to no hope going foreard and the remaining candidates are lackluster to say the least. I sure hope you appreciate my concern when they sign a washed up Brian Billick.

No seriously I would have called you an idiot for this post a week ago. Now I honestly am not sure I cannot see why Gus would visit the Jags seriously.

Perhaps he promised to meet with them. Would you rather a coach who didn't keep promises?

Nobody knows really what the situation is except for the parties involved. Not Schefter, not anyone. But yet you fools think you know exactly what is going on.

Get a damn clue.

I have been saying this for 2 years now.  Some of us saw this coming, we just have to hope that Lurie does not let this drag on.  If they bottom out this season, which is looking very likely, Roseman needs to be gone before he cripples this franchise for a decade.

While I agree with every word you said, this isn't bad enough to belong in TATE. It's too intelligent and makes sense.

Promised? Thats cute

Sounds like you have a clue how a large multi-billion franchise is run. Thats like getting married to a girl but letting her sleep at her ex-boyfriends house the night before the wedding

i think it is lurie and howie. It's not one it's both. Lurie put howie in power and let banner walk. It's obvious to me right now that reid was set up as this years fall guy as their has been one every year since 2009. This free agent shopping spree and coaching tree shopping spree doesn't sound like reids work at all to me. When have we known reid to do anything like that in his previous 10 + seasons? So Lurie and howie's plan fails and reid gets the axe. Now here we sit and we are putting ourselves in a position of the last coach left standing. I have been told by some front office loyalists that "we hold all the cards" and "Lurie will do the right thing". Obviously when it was just andy and marrone off the board you could say that still. Not now though if gus signs in jax !!! We interviewed mccoy he chose san diego. I don't know if we were really interested in mccoy but if not mcooy,if not gus,if not marrone....who are we interested in? I know lurie wanted chip badly but did he really have 0 plan b's?

Jon Gruden is the only HC that will excite this fan base. Bringing in Billick or Wisenhunt does nothing for me.

Seriously?

You guys act like there's hardly anything to these decisions. Despite all of the things that need to be gone over with how the team will be coached, personnel chosen, on and on and on. Then there's the family of the coach, guess they don't get to chime in or at least be in a discussion with the coach about it before he signs on the dotted line.

Just amazing the thought processes here. You guys act like you just bring a guy in, throw money at him and tell him to sign on the line, we'll accomodate you however you wish. And no, please don't talk with your family or speak with any other teams because we're an attractive place to coach.

I'd say they have until March to make a coaching decision . . . They're not going to rush, the coach isn't going to go after one deal.

I think theres substance to the fact that real experts, such as LaCanfora and Polian have publicly taken shots at Roseman.

The Senior Bowl is in 9 days. They need a freaking coach before that, unless you want Howie and Don making all the player evaluation at the Senior Bowl.

I think Bradley would be a great fit for the Eagles....it doesn't look like that is going to happen though.Would anyone really prefer Brian Billick over Jon Gruden? I didn't think they would let Bradley leave without a deal....they really screwed up.

The Senior Bowl is a week from Saturday.
The coaching staff needs to be in place before that.
