So for this year and next we will have Foles or any other veterans such as Vick.  But...

In 2 years, Marcus Mariota will be able to go into the draft.  If he does well for the rest of his college career, what are the chances we pick him up?  Granted this is looking very far into the future, but I can see it happening.

For now, get Lovie as the DC!

Thoughts?

Would be interesting Mariota versus Manziel. Manziel left Oregon for A&M with Mariota ahead of him. Mariota also has a good arm and would know the system. Just as good running(YPC) but alot less touchdowns. Better rating, yards, passing TDs. Bigger guy by 3 inches.

Would be close

good argument. I forgot that he was originally an Oregon commitment. So you know Chip likes him.

I personally think bridgewater will be the best pro of the bunch and seems to be the best prospect. I love Manzei's game but I am afraid of throwing millions at the guy

That playoff win was all Demaryius Thomas, turning a 10 yard slant into an 80 yard touchdown.

What I think might be the most important thing is that Manziel was behind Mariota. Might be fit but does seem to show which guy Kelly thought would be better.

I haven't seen Bridgewater play so no opinion there. But Mariota impresses me

Would you take a qb that won a playoff game over one who didn't?

I wouldn't be surprised if Kelly brought in Darron Thomas (his QB before Mariota) from Oregon for a tryout. Very familiar in his offense.. I don't see him being anything but a backup but another option to look at is Dennis Dixon who was on the Ravens practice squad this year after starting a few games for the Steelers the last few years. Another Kelly quarterback at one point.. you never know.

well considering the QB who won the playoff game, Tebow, was twice the 3rd string QB for his team and Manning has multiple MVPs and a SuperBowl, yeah I still think I am taking Manning because his team lost in large part because of a fluke hail mary which was also in the round tebow exited in

I never understood over the years why fans do this.    They pin point some QB that is more than likely going to be #1 overall QB and say "we should get him"

As if all the other sorry teams that will probably have much worse records won't think that guy is worth drafting

If Chip Kelly has any success he won't be in position to draft a Mariota in the 1st place

And if he is in position to draft a Mariota, he probably wont even be the coach any longer because he will be run out of town by then for having atrocious record

I'd take the one who won a Super Bowl, if that is the only criteria.

I think tebow would be a great fit he has the mobile threat and if he is free pick him up he can get the ball down the field Pass or run he is young and would improve in his years
