First, I don't think the pity vote would sway the Heisman.

Lastly, more of you understand the situation more than you want to let on, it's fine.



If I were talking about myself, I promise you I'd be straight about it, but this truly isn't.

I have a family member that has been in what I guess would be called a relationship for I think around 7 or more years. He lives in Florida, she's in Canada. Until about a year ago the reason for not meeting was an alleged divorce and an implication of the extremely long divorce process in Canada.

She sends him money often, as well as phone cards so he can call her and gaming items. I think she even funds his Xbox live account.

They talk on the phone almost every day or at the very least interact online multiple times a day. This may be reduced lately because I think she's not laying a line about having to take care of her mother.  When he comes to visit, which is rarely because he doesn't want to throw off their communication schedule, he isn't allowed to visit female friends from the past because it upsets her. I say female friends because I'm not referring to previous girlfriends. Actual friends that just happen to be female don't jive with this chick.

I've provided proof that the only pic she has ever sent him is a fake. He has convinced himself that he loves her to the point that it doesn't matter what she looks like.


He is so clueless. He has no perception of how unattractive a person could be that would tell you that they love you but not send you a single honest pic for over half a decade.


I'm telling you, I've seen it first hand. The internet is a powerful mistress.
