Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole has been told that $3 million of Michael Vick's $15.5 million salary for 2013 becomes guaranteed on March 11, not February 6 as previously reported.
The later date allows the Eagles more time to think things over now that Chip Kelly is on board. It's thought that with Kelly now in town, Vick may be more willing to renegotiate his massive deal and stick around. The quarterback's departure from Philadelphia was once widely viewed as a lock, but it now seems to be less certain.

Why would you want a vastly slowing down, beat up, and unable to read a defense QB playing a read option offense? 3/4 of the design on offense is the QB's ability to make the right read. Vick has never had even close to a long stretch of making great reads. Plus there is no point to design an offense that is suited for Vick when he can't even stay healthy a full season. When he goes down who will run the offense?

Accuracy
intelligence
durability
and ball security to operate in chips Kelly's Oregon O. But hey he's still fast so lets keep him at QB

In Oakland? Don't forget we're talking about the same team who sold their future by trading for Palmer. Nothing as far a personnel desicions should be taken seriously when it comes to Oakland. I just threw a name out there when mentioning Pyror since he was dynamic in college who would fit Chip's scheme if he were in fact to try it in the NFL. I bet The skins wish they'd kept their pick had they known Wilson would still be there in the second round seeing how he is just as dynamic and even better than RG3. Just throw names out there they we don't know about.

I don't know man but iluveagles stuck by his Chip Kelly signing here even when it was all said and done that he would go back to Oregon. I'm serious about hoping Vick stays one more year just to piss off everyone on this board. I don't care because I don't think Foles is the guy and I want us to make strong push for Johnny Football if he decides to come out next year.

Even if for arguments' sake we assume Kelly is going to bring the same offense he runs at Oregon to Philly (which I highly doubt), Vick still doesn't fit. That offense doesn't just require athleticism from the QB, but also a guy who is going to make GOOD DECISIONS. A read-option requires a QB to be able to READ the play, and make a decision... what about Vick's play over his 10+ year career would lead anyone to believe that he can that read?

The whole Foles can't throw the ball 30 yards down the field clearly shows that you haven't been watching him play.
