Anyone who thinks Dixon should be brought in please find a new team. Maybe the Redskins because fans welcomed Spurrier adding all those ex Gators to his roster.

Dennis Dixon is currently on the Ravens PRACTICE SQUAD this year and was cut once from it. He couldn't even make their roster.

Pittsburgh got rid of him because he couldn't even beat Charlie Batch or Byron Leftwich.

On top of that...he tore his ACL in 2007 prior to being drafted and suffered a season ending meniscus injury in 2010 after his only career start.

Wouldn't mind Dixon as a mentor like Ken Dorsey was when he was in the NFL since DIxon was in Oregon's system when Kelly was OC, but he isn't starting material.

People are so stupid.  Are we just going to go after athletic quarterbacks who cant throw worth ****?  The reason Carolina's, Washington's, San Fran's, and Seattle's offense works is because THOSE GUYS CAN THROW.  This is utterly moronic beyond belief.
Sounds like you've never seen Dixon play so basically you need to STFU.......dude can throw the ball with the best of them.

The defense is a friggin' mess. It needs a lot more than that. THAT should be Chip's priority. This is the NFL...not the pac 12 or 10 or wherever.
One day you guys are going to understand that the absolute best defense is a ball controlling offense.......if they ain't got the ball they can't score.

Dennis Dixon is not the answer, Mike Vick is not the answer, this team has to many other holes and their is no answer in this draft.

2013 is Nick Foles, if it doesn't work, the guys that fit " Kelly's system " will be in the 2014 draft, and if Foles makes it work, then we don't have a problem.

Maybe he likes Dennis Dixon
Are you kidding me, he should love Dennis Dixon, Dixon put him on the map!!!!!

You guys just don't know Dixon's talent.

The only issue with Dixon is he may be injury prone, he injured his knee at Oregon when he was the top Heisman candidate and he injured it again while having a hellava game in his first start at Pittsburgh.

Big Ben got lucky, had Dixon not got injured he would have never seen the field again.

I really don't care how much the Eagles suck in 2013

as long as poison from 2012 is being cut off this team.

plus the 2014 draft is looking loaded

He isn't actually a Ravens backup. He's only on their practice squad.

You condescend as if to suggest you just made some revelation to the noobs. You didn't. Trust me. Defense is defense. Period. I don't care how long you PLAN to hold the ball. Besides, Chip's defenses averaged a very large amout of time on the field because the offense was always in hurry up. Didinger pointed out that the Ducks offense averaged just 26 minutes per game with the ball on O. Not a lot at all. That's 34 minutes average for the D. THAT'S a lot. But you mitigate in that in college with 100+ man roster and fresh bodies. Not gonna fly in the NFL.

So, before you condescend, make sure your obvious point is at least valid. ;)

Exactly. Simple as that.

I think Kelly is gonna give Foles an honest try....if for no other reason than the fact that he doesn't have many options at the moment. Chip plans to be here a while. He doesn't need to have the team he plans on riding for a while in place from day 1.

I guess he has looked horrible at the East/West practices this week.
