Yeah, the last thing the Eagles need is a quarterback. Said the man who just woke up from a coma.

These comments that Foles made weeks ago are completely irrelevant to whether he is with the team in 2013 or not.

Thats one thing I don't like about Foles, he can't answer any question unless it's with some cliched coach or player speak. He wasn't coached on how to answer this and he can't think for himself.

I love Foles = Foles will work fine in Chip's system
For myself, check back again in September. If Chip like what he sees in Foles, he'll find a way to work with Foles' skill set. If not, I expect to see another QB sooner rather than later and he probably won't be wearing #7. I sure hope Chip doesn't make his decisions based on what he reads here

Vick on the other hand... He was a veteran making rookie mistakes. I don't want to hear this "offensive line wasn't healthy" or "lets see Vick play street ball" I'm done making those excuses. The reason why was because last year he was a turnover machine too with a healthy offensive line. We better get this guy out of here before he continues to mess this team up.

Yep. I'd say so.
I think Kelly was vague about his long term plans...as I expected...but his repeated answer to the questions about the QB and offense were about adapting to personnel and playing to the strengths of what he has. He said it over and over. He had lots of good things to say about Foles. He stressed how he values toughness and that Foles has it in spades. This is because he stressed durability from his QB. He also loved his smarts and accuracy. I take that as a temporary vote for Foles by Chip.
Now, if Foles leaves him frustrated after a season (or less), he may pull a trigger faster and go elsewhere. But if he and Foles end up with a good rapport and good results, it would be foolish to go after a different QB. I think 2013 will tell us a lot. If the 2014 draft sees a high pick to his kind of QB, I'd say the writing is on the wall for Foles. But for now, his fate is not sealed. It's wide open.

POSTER 1: "Vicks a turnover machine!"
POSTER 2: when he's healthy.
See....it's kinda funny when you actually follow along.
