The 2nd source confirmed the GAs but not Azzinaro as of yet. Would be a bit off to hire DL coach before DC but everything is probably all in process

You want the Eagles to fail for multiple years rather than be successful and win a Super Bowl? Is it because Chip is white? <_<

Here's what I know about these guys (know a lot more about a** than the others):

Harper and Austin are grad assistants who as others mentioned would probably be lower-level support guys. I have heard from folks in the know that the Oregon staff sees/saw Harper (a former UO safety) as a guy with a bright coaching future.

Lyght is interesting, as he has 12 years NFL experience as a player and basically came to Oregon as a coaching intern (not allowed to coach players on the field, but can be involved in all meetings) because he saw it as an opportunity to learn from one of the best staffs in the country. This is a guy who could have easily got a full-time position as a secondary coach at the college level, but didn't need the money and chose learning at a high-level program over just coaching at any old school. I've heard good things about his influence and it will be interesting to see if he is indeed going to be Chip's secondary coach or fulfill some other role.

Azzinaro is the one coach we all assumed Chip would take with him. Kelly brought him in when he was hired as the head coach and a** has been great at Oregon. Prior to coming to UO he is the coach that Dwight Freeny gives the most credit for his development and since he has been at Oregon he has maximized our D-line talent. In fact the only knock anybody has on a** is that he's not the greatest recruiter (not the sort of guy to tell 18-year olds everything they want to hear). He is a no-nonsense, gruff, high intensity coach who folks talk about as a great teacher of technique. His development of Dion Jordan (likely top 15 pick this year) as a defensive end/olb has been particularly impressive, when you consider Dion spent his first two seasons at Oregon as a WR/TE. Finally, a** gets a lot of credit from those with access for helping to shift Oregon from a 4-3 to a hybridized 3-4 (a hugely productive change for the Ducks).

Yes...they deserve to fail, hiring Chip Kelly was the worst possible thing they could have done.Lurie and Roseman have doomed the team to years,of medocrity now....it will be 3-5 yrs. before this team even gets close to making a playoff run.

He is gonna fail regardless of what I wish...I just want to see Lurie and Roseman squirm when they realize what they have done to this franchise by hiring Chip Kelly. Kelly will fail,Lurie will blame Roseman, and Roseman will be fired...that is how it will go down in the end.
