It was his assistant coach at Oregon who coached the D Line. And I'd say that he's already spoken to the candidates for DC and they're ok with the hire. Plus, if he had an abrasive personality like Washburn did, I don't think he'd have hired him. Plus, if he's bringing the guys from college in, Kirby and Grantham probably already know the guy.

Exactly, Kelly loves the guy and wanted him. He's not forcing some system like the wide-9 in the process.
