If the Eagles even wanted Horton that badly. We don't know if they do.

This has to be a lie, this story can't be true. The Rooney Rule doesn't apply to coordinators yet.

Banners revenge for Roseman snatching Chip...

2012 Cardinals D:

Ranked 21st in Total Yards

Ranked 16th in Total points allowed

Ranked 16th in Total points per game

Ranked 31st in Third Down percentage

Ranked 28th in First Downs allowed

Ranked 26th in Fourth Down conversions (tied)

You sure it's "revenge" and not just the Browns being the Browns?

The Browns might finish 3rd next year with the Steelers on the decline. They are putting together a decent staff and have players to build around. Add in the cap space they have and they can be a real threat soon. Letting Horton go was a mistake. The defense would be top 5-10 with an even semi capable offense on the Cards. As a Ravens fan I don't know what to make of seeing the Browns not fail completely. Honestly they had been on the brink but couldn't make that next step. Should at least be fun to watch next year.

Really using those statistics? Arizona's Defense was first in being on the field last year. Their offense was atrocious.

Give me something to go by then. I didn't watch Arizona very much. I'm open to being corrected in my opinion, which is based on stats alone.

Oh, and they were ranked 24th in opponents Time of Possession, so they were far from "first in being on the field". 31:19 per game average. Not great, but not the worst either. Best in the league, the Texans were 27:50. The Eagles were 30:31.

I dont know VABeach. Horton had the Cardinals as the #1 Defense through the first 5 or so weeks of the season. Stats don't tell the whole story. He is one of the best coordinators in the NFL.

The Eagles were 3-1 through the first 4 weeks of the season. You can't end the picture there though, you have to take it as a whole. Please forgive me if I don't just take your word that he's "one of the best" when his defensive stats don't prove that out though.

I'm open to that possibility, but I'd need more than "the first 5 weeks" of a 16 game season to go on if I'm not allowed to go by stats.

This staff is either going to be a huge failure or a success....there is not in between with all these big names.

Knowing it's there Browns, My guess is a huge failure

I told you the Browns were turning it around.

The fans of the Browns will finally have alot to cheer about this season IMO. They have the right People in place and a young and talented roster. Another good draft and I really and truley beleive they could POSSIBALLY fight for a WC berth soon as this season IMO

I wanted Horton here due to his relative youth and the Defense we have. not to mention his ability to coach both the 3-4 and 4-3. I thought the way he had his LB's play was outstanding. But the braids have got to go.

O and D coordinators might be better than the HC. Both will really help him out especially Turner who sucked as a HC but is a genius coordinator. The offense in Cleveland is also a gigantic mess but the team showed some good signs this year however a brand new staff on and off the field could set them back too. They are looking for their first franchise QB since Bernie Kosar. Ouch!

So does this mean they are going back to a 3-4?, they just went 4-3 under Shurmer, and where 3-4 under Mangini and crennel

but they beat the Patriots!!! People were all over his bandwagon early on but the cardinals fizzled all together. hard to say if some of the blame can be put on the offense. I watched one Arizona game so I can't really say
