Last time our two teams had a linebacker coach leave to be the DC, that team won the Super Bowl!

97-2005 he was the DC at Michigan from there he was with the Jets as a LB coach then the Ginas. That will be your history lesson for this post.

If he's not bald enough I don't know what to say. I am calling it right now....THIS GUY IS BALD ENOUGH TO COACH THE DEFENSE OF THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES!! Not sure he is good enough but at least he has the lack of hair part down.

Because ge works on a D thats not particularly good with linebackers that are not particularly good.  Trying to find any positives to the guy.

I can honestly say I never heard of him which isn't all that unusual for position coaches outside the eagles but I watch a lot of games and usually have heard of many of the top guys on the cusp of getting promotions. Doesn't excite me at all but I won't pan a guy I don't know either

Michigan doesn't usually keep scrubs around for 20 years. You can start there.

Just look at the guy's pedigree. Defensive coach for the last 25+ years. DC for the Michigan Wolverines for 9 years (including the 97 National Championship). Broke into the league coaching a solid Jets LB corps. Spent the last 4 years coaching one of the best (if not the best) LB corps in the NFL (Giants).

The guy knows defense, and he damn sure knows a solid LB when he sees one.
