To stay with the Eagles? According to this article http://www.nfl.com/n...tay-with-eagles he'd like to stay in Philly. But no way is the team paying him $16 mil. this season.

he'll take a pay cut one way or another.  he's probably on the phone w Andy Reid, who's the only other coach in the nfl that would give him another shot. if Reid doesn't want him and he still wants to play, he's gonna have to play for 1 mil or so here. he can't realistically think he's worth 15 million can he?

If retained the big issue will come down to starting, even $3MM is a ton for a back up

I'll tell you this Foles is not a great runner for yards, but I think he moves well in the pocket. As he progressed he seemed to have a better feel for where the rush was coming from...do not confuse mobility with running ability, see one stays healthy while the other does not

I totally agree on Foles pocket awareness. I noticed a huge improvement as the season went on.

In his first 2 games it seemed like if the play didnt work as planned he was screwed. As the season went on his ability to keep the play alive, buy time, and move up in the pocket improved alot.

They might ask him to take a massive paycut knowing he won't take it. Then, it looks like he is the one who is deciding to leave.  If he decides to take a pay cut, then they can just cut him if he doesn't look good in camp.  Either way, here's hoping that he is gone.

He's going to take a pay cut to leave, so if he thinks the Eagles are going somewhere, why not take a pay cut to stay? Taking a pay cut is the only way he'll be able to stay though.

The injury issues notwithstanding I've seen no evidence Vick is the sort of QB willing to adapt to major change. At the end of the day he's not real smart and is very stubborn. I don't see it working with him.

wow the media is getting lazy. You'd think an article like this would at least have some kind of quote other than "sources say". In truth the whole paycut talk is nothing but that "talk". It was said by the vick camp that he wouldn't take a paycut to stay when he wasn't even offered one. The bigger question isn't if vick would accept it but rather if the eagles want him back at any amount of money at all.

There is nothing in that article that suggests he would take a pay cut to stay.

To date, we've only heard that he WON'T take a pay cut to stay. Vick is a moron for even suggesting that he's worth what the Eagles would have to pay him in 2013. I think he'll be jobless in 2013. I don't think anyone wants him.
