i'm surprised nobody has expressed interest in this guy.. he will be a match-up nightmare from the slot.

Perhaps Chip is looking at him but the reason why this board isn't talking about him is we have bigger needs then offensive weapons.

He can be a great slot guy, but if we draft any receiver this year I would want DeAndre Hopkins. But thats if we draft a receiver. I think Chip will be fine with the ones we have.

This guy is likely going to end up going in the first round. We have much bigger needs than a slot receiver.

Trust me....this guy is a weapon and someone is going to steal him late in the first.  Sickening to think that it may be New England, but he has the versatility that would fit great in that offense.

It would be phenomenal if the Eagles could get him. Our offense would be a nightmare to match up with, but I don't see us drafting him with the 4th pick or landing him in the 2nd RD, maybe if we trade down in the 1st but who knows if thats happening.

My question with Tavon relates to his size.  His inflated measurements are 5-9, 176.  He is more like 5-7 and 165, IMO.  He is really little, but jacked physically and very fast.  Makes defenders look silly.  Quality kick returner.  Nice kid. Mature.

This is a game where he was primarily moved to RB for the one and only time.

I have seen every game of his college career....most of them in person.  He is so ridiculously dynamic - a perfect Chip Kelly, "in space" player. Think DJax x2.  Some people question highlight tapes, but this stuff happens every game.

I don't think anyone is questioning his playmaking ability on here. Everyone is questioning do we need another offensive weapon when there are much much bigger needs?

We would all love to have him, but we need other players first

Awesome player. But we have much bigger needs (especially in the 1st round) than another Desean Jackson

He looks like a faster Damaris Johnson.  Agree with everyone else... we have bigger needs.

Personally, i think we need a true number one receiver. Jackson and Maclin are great but it's my opinion that neither is meant to make a living outside the numbers. I think Jackson or Maclin should be moved to the slot where they can use their speed, and agility to create havoc. We can pick up a true number one in the middle rounds. There are some available. We need a height, weight speed guy, someone that'll go up to challenge for the ball. This addition would make Jackson and Maclin all the better, because you couldn't put your best corner on Jackson and take him out the game, you'd have to put a nickel corner on him which Jackson beats everytime with his speed.. i should write the front office a letter. i'm tired of seeing this fake #1s on our team.

Justin Hunter 6'4" 200lbs. He can run but at that height I'd say he'd need to put a few pounds on in the NFL

Im glad im the the only one who sees the need to go bigger at wr.. im tired of seeing players on other teams with these big stud receivers always making plays and our guys just disappearing in games. I like Rogers in 3-4 range.

4.25 in the 40!  WOW!  I'm beginning to think this guy has a place in this offense, but you gotta go get him at #4.

Pretty much guaranteed we won't get him with those 40 times.  The only offensive positions I see us addressing in the first 3 rounds are the OL and possibly TE (as it stands right now, who knows what can happen between now and the draft as far as personnel). I like him but we don't really NEED a speedy slot guy, nor is he a sure-fire pick.

Yeah a big stud WR would be great but I don't really see one that is worth taking 4th overall, and I don't see any "must-have" guys that will fall to us int he second either.  I'd rather find a project in the 4-5 area if possible.  With so many positions of need we have to stick to the strengths of this draft class.

I'm getting a strange vibe from this year's WR draft prospects. I'm warm to drafting big bodied wr's like Davis from VT but the talent of Justin Hunter can't be denied.

Agreed I love Davis in the 4-5 range.  Also love Rogers in the 3-4.  Then there's guys like Hopkins, hunter(my favorite wr but to early for all r other needs), Williams, Allen, patton, Patterson, n woods.  All those guys are 1-3 rounders and personally I would rather we invest r early picks on defense or oline

Not when defense and OL are bigger concerns. What's the point in having him if as soon as he scores the other team drives down the field as they will and score or you can't throw the ball if our QB is on his back. Too much of a luxury pick to go at #4. I would love tavon in this offense but we can't do that.

he is a human joystick. can take snaps at RB. def would be fun, but i do like justin hunter tyler eifert darick rodgers, as bigger options as well.... and the most well rounded WR this year is Quinton Pattton.
