Free Agency:
The Eagles should target Jairus Byrd, Dashon Goldson, or Louis Delmas if any of them hit free agency.

Round 1: Jarvis Jones - OLB - Georgia - Height: 6-2 - Weight: 242
At pick number 4 Jones is the best player on the board. Luke will go #1 overall to KC because we all know how Andy Reid loves his linemen. If Luke is here at 4 we snatch him in a heartbeat. I dont think we take Milliner at 4 because that is too high to take him. Obviously this guy is a play maker. He did play in a 3-4 defense at Georgia but with his skill set he can play 3-4 or 4-3 outside linebacker. He would hit perfectly in Chip Kelly's ideal defense because he plans to be aggressive and attack so Jarvis Jones would have some chances to take down the QB.

Round 2: Xavier Rhodes - CB - Florida State - Height: 6-2 - Weight: 215
This man in my opinion is the best corner in the draft. But some of these so called "experts" have him as low as the 4th best ranked corner in the draft. It is a long shot he makes to the second round but there is a possibility because we all know players stock rise and drop. Rhodes has great size and speed. He can compete for the ball when in the air. He is a solid tackler and an all around good corner. He could be an immediate starter or can wait until Nnamdi gets the boot/benched.

Round 3: Brennan Williams - OT - North Carolina - Height: 6-7 - Weight: 315
We need to build the depth of the offensive line as we have seen this season. Bell and Dunlap are 2 bums that couldn't block the sun from their eyes. Williams has first round talent but because of his injury history he could drop into the third round. He is a big body with solid footwork and uses his hands very well with his long reach.

Round 4: Leon McFadden - CB - San Diego State - Height: 5-10 - Weight: 190
With the NFL turning into a passing league you can never have to many corners. McFadden has great ball skills as a corner and made many plays in his college career. He takes a few gambles in coverage and sometimes he has gotten beat because of it. He is not afraid to tackle when the ball is coming his way. Only reason he drops this far is because the level of competition at the college level was not so great. Could challenge for the nickle/dime spot. Solid special teams player as well.

Round 5: Bacarri Rambo - S - Georgia - Height: 6-0 - Weight: 218
We all know how bad the Eagles' safeties are. If they can acquire a solid safety in Free Agency then we can afford to draft a safety later in the draft. Rambo has first round talent but because of his off the field issues he will fall far down the draft. But when he is on the field he is a playmaker. He is decent in coverage and is aggressive when the ball is in the air. one weakness for him is that he is a very inconsistent tackler. But that can be fixed. Rambo would challenge Kurt Coleman/Nate Allen for their starting spot. Most likely a special teams player in his first year.

Round 6: Denard Robinson - QB/RB/WR - Michigan - Height: 6-1 - Weight: 193
At this point in the draft you have to draft for the best player available. Denard Robinson will not be a QB on this team or any team in the NFL. But he seems like a Chip Kelly type of player. Robinson is a dynamic play maker and can score from anywhere on the field. Chip Kelly can find places to put him on the field. I believe this is excellent value in the sixth round. Could be a more dynamic Josh Cribbs. Never know.

Round 7: Baker Steinkuhler - DT/DE - Nebraska - Height: 6-6 - Weight: 290
Steinkuhler could be drafted for d-line depth. He has a decent season and with the right coaching he can be a decent player in a d-line rotation.

Colby Cameron - QB - Louisiana Tech - Height: 6-2 - Weight: 205
Cameron is an interesting player. His definitely raised his stock at the East - West Shrine game. He has a little bit of mobility but is not a burner. He is a pocket passer and makes great decisions in the pocket. Holds the NCAA record for most consecutive passes without an interception. He is a project QB can can be a decent career backup.

What is spinal stenosis?

Why is it so bad for a football player to have? What makes it career threatening?

Spinal stenosis is narrowing of the spinal column that causes pressure on the spinal cord, or narrowing of the openings (called neural foramina) where spinal nerves leave the spinal column.
More serious symptoms include:

  • Difficulty or poor balance when walking

  • Problems controlling urine or bowel movements

im not a doctor so i have no idea lol but the USC doctors thought it was bad enough to not allow him to play football for them ever again so idk why Georgia doctors thought it was ok but id rather not risk it

could end up being a waste of a 4th overall

Spinal Stenosis is usually a slower over time disease. There have been other NFL players that have had it. I don't know if it necessarily means teams should stay away from him.

I have Spinal Stenosis.  It can be debilitating.  You have a hard time standing or moving around and it leads to other things (like Sciatica).  It's caused by a combination of a number of things, degenerative disc, ruptured disc, arthritis etc.  It's progressive but can be controlled, to a point, with steroid (don't know if that would fly in the NFL) or cortisone injections.  It will definitely have an effect on his play, his durability and the length of his career.  A lot would depend on how advanced it is, however.  In a young guy it might not be too bad yet.  An MRI, CAT scan and a good neurologist would have to really examin him closely
