Lets create a rolling thread to talk about the upcoming draft.  Whether it's late early entrants, you posting your top players by position, news about the Senior Bowl/combine and visits.  Footballman, if you wanna deposit some of your videos in here go ahead.I'm by no means a scout, but I'll compile a list of players by position and value.  We'll see if we can have some fun with this.  Any takers?I will continually update this initial post with links to good draft sites and references.

I like Taylor a lot.  Hunt is an interesting fellow...can't say I'm too big of a fan of Okafor though.  He's very inconsistent.
QB's- I love Nassib and Dysert.  I also was really high on Wilson coming into the year.  I'm anxious to see how he does at this stage of things.  I'll pass on EJ and Glennon.  Too inconsistent for my likings.

North Roster players of note.
I think Barner will be of interest to us. Chip might draft a guy or 2 from his team. Im probably in the minority but Im not much a fan of either Polk or Lewis and would love a 3rd RB.
Ryan Otten is a TE seemingly with a ton of talent who didnt really have a chance to show it off at San Jose State.
Plenty of OTs on the North roster. Fisher, Long (another Oregon guy), Pugh
Everyone will be interested to see Margus Hunt
Poyer and Wreh-Wilson are 2 CBs that seem like they can move up boards.
Phillip Thomas a nice S.

South Roster
Stephfan Taylor another RB I like
Quinton Patton is an intriguing WR
OTs Aboushi, Fluker
Im very excited to see Ezekiel Ansah
Jamie Collins at LB is a heck of an athlete. I would like to see Chase Thomas have a nice week. Hes a guy I think is overrated. Im not a fan. Maybe he can prove me wrong.
Alford is a small school DB who should impress.

looks like a pretty good top 10 ferris. I havent put any thought into one of my own, but I think it would be very similar.

Margus Hunt, Ezekiel Ansah, and Devin Taylor who played in the shrine game are some really big DL who are very athletic.
Id love to come away with 2 of them. They all have the size to play 3-4 DE yet may be freakish enough to play 3-4 OLB.

This is a very deep CB class IMO.  A lot of the top talent are underclassmen though.  I like a few of the Seniors here as well.

My target for need and talent wise would be Xavier Rhodes.  A lot is going to depend on how the QB's do in the Senior Bowl/combine/interviews.  There could be a few teams that would possibly wanna trade up for a Wilson/Glennon/Nassib.  I would assume those teams would be Buffalo or Dallas.  That's if it falls that way.  So realistically trade back to 8, where I'd like to trade back a few more places for Rhodes but I'd be fine taking.  Or trade back with Dallas and hope Rhodes falls to there.

I updated my top 5 for every position as it stands today in the original post.

@Jimmy_Beast

Florida St QB EJ Manuel has spoken with the Eagles here at the Senior Bowl, per EJ.

I'm very interested in Manuel, has all the tools to be a good QB just needs to be developed

Bama CB's don't back pedal...doesn't have elite measurables and I bet he's not a hair over 5'11 at the combine.  He's strong and physical, but he's still a little raw.  He's marginally better than Kirkpatrick, who went 17 last year.  Rhodes is an elite athlete.

To me 5'11" is the perfect height for a CB.  Tall enough that he doesn't get taken advantage of but compact enough to flip his hips with the quickest players in the league.  I need to watch more of Milliner and how he performs in drills, especially with his back pedal as you noted, and those evaluations will determine my judgment.  I've loved what I've seen from him in games and think he's the most complete CB coming out in a long time.  Can do it all.

Ferris i agree with your remarks of Rhodes possibly being better than Milliner but Banks and Poyer are headscratchers. There is a reason Milliner is going top 10 in this draft, false size isn't scaring teams away

A few notes from what I watched of the North practice on NFLN:

1.  Desmond Trufant (Washington) looked fantastic.  Don't know what he'll run but his quickness was great in one-on-ones and he fought for every inch.

2.  From what I saw none of the QB's stood out.  Nassib (Syracuse) looks very small which I worry about when it comes to injuries.  He might be the same H-W as some good pro QB's like Rodgers and Romo but he's not built like them.  Glennon was skinny too but it was far less worrisome as he has a huge frame to pack weight on.  Didn't see enough of Dysert to make a judgment.

3.  Datone Jones (UCLA) looks like a freak of nature.  6'4" and 280 lbs. with good quickness.  Heard Margus Hunt (SMU) made people look at him in marvel at the weigh-in but that was to be expected.  I expect him to be a luxury pick in the late 2nd round by a team like the 49ers or Patriots looking for an X-factor on ST's and the staff to streamline his raw abilities on defense.

4.  Aaron Dobson out of Marshall looks like the kind of guy who can get open at will.  Want to see more out of him.

5.  Eric Fisher (CMU) also looked fantastic.  I doubt he'll be able to vault past Joeckel but he could end up where Taylor Lewan was projected to go (picks 7-10).

6.  This DT class looks sick.  Looks like the deepest position in the first 2 rounds.

Biggest rise from Day 1 in my book:  Trufant, Fisher, Jones, Hunt
Biggest fall from Day 1 in my book:  Pugh, Wilson (tiny hands), Nassib

We'll see how it plays out.  Hunt was expected to be the star of weigh-ins and the QB's still haven't gotten accustomed to throwing to different WR's.

You'll have to see him at the combine.  He's a good CB, but he's not the top one in the draft I think.  I think that's Rhodes/Banks.

Watch Dee a little bit more.  I like him, but he's not a fluid athlete.  He also lacks elite make up speed.

Banks is a ball hawking playmaker, so is Poyer.  They can both cover very well.  IMO better than DeMarcus.  The question with those 2 and it might change going foward is their actual size.  They both are kind of frail and not built to add.  Rhodes is just a physical specimen.

Quessenberry made himself some money today.  He looks like a natural guard or possibly a RT at the NFL level...but he's got a nasty mean streak and his footwork is superb!!

Dysert and Fisher looked amazing as well.

Just went over some Tennessee draft prospects as i am making a video for one of them, and jesus how did this team perform like they did this year. That is a disgrace to have all that talent and play like they did. Bray, Patterson, Hunter, Dallas Thomas. No wonder why their coach got canned.

Their D was horrid and they had little in the run game department.  Bray didn't help at times too.  He reminds me of Jay Cutler.  All the talent in the world, but a headcase.
