My first ever Off-Season and Mock Draft.. dont be to hard...

Restructures:
Michael Vick: (16.9 mill) If they do not the eagles are going to get hit with 4 mill of dead money...Now I do not think VICK needs to be in Eagles anymore but I am a fan not a coach so I am being bias right now...
Nnamdi Asomugha: (15.3 mil) If they do not the eagles are going to get hit with 4.2 mill of dead money
Cullen Jenkins (5.3 mill) If they do not the eagles are going to get hit with 1.5 mill of dead money
Jason Peters (10.7 mill) Peters has no dead money if we cut him but the eagles want to keep him but they need to lower his cap number the eagles can give him up front money to lower his cap number
Jason Avant:(2.7 mill) He is making 2.7 mills next year and I love Jason but being a number 3 WR he needs to lower his cap. So do the same to him as they do Peters. Cause if we cut him is dead money is 1.4 mill.
Our Free Agents:
Jake Scoot- Earned a chance to come back a compete for a backup role- 1 year league min
Jon Dorenbos- Most consistent person on our roster… Have to have him back. 2 years 5 mill
Darryl Tapp- He will walk… We Drafted Vinny Curry and Brandon Graham came on strong last year too.
Colt Anderson- Best special team’s guy…and I would love to have him back… but he takes up a roster spot for someone who is an ave Safety… I would let him walk…
Derek Landri- Works hard and plays hard but he can walk
Akeem Jordan-We are going to address this position in the draft so he can walk…
King Dunlap- Dennis Kelly is a better player than he is and has a brighter future so he can walk too
DRC- Honesty he had a very up and down year and he stinks at tackling big time… But at the same time we did see what made him a 1st round pick sometimes… plus he is on 25 years old and he needs to be coached better… so with the new Head Coach, new DC and coaching staff I believe we keep DRC and get him back to the right kind of player… 3 yrs 21 mill with incentives…
CUTS: People really need to know who is a free agent of our team before they throw them on the cut list.
Demetress Bell
David Sims
Mat McBriar
Mike Patterson- I love Mike but with health issues the last two years I really think him and the eagles need to make a business decision because his health is more important.
People they will not cut… so get over it…
Nate Allen- Just like DRC, we saw great things at some points of the season (this year and last) and we saw very poor things… I believe he has been playing the wrong position since he came back from injury. He is a FS not a SS… He is better in pass coverage then playing the run… Also with the new Head Coach, new DC and coaching staff I believe they will get him back to the right kind of player.
Danny Watkins- Up till this point he is a bust but he was playing in Howard Mudd system and honestly we saw Todd Herremans decrease from what a pro bowl caliber player to an Ave player the last two years. So I think the system does not work for guys like Danny and Todd… Also he was a first round pick and they will not cut that… they will let his contract end before they cut him. Now I am not saying start him next year or not draft someone… but I would keep him as a backup
Dion Lewis- Why is my question… when he has been given a change in the games he has done well… is he better than our two first backs “NO” but he is better than the injury prone Chris Polk… We keep him as the number 3
Stanley Havili- Why is my question... He has done a good job lead blocking and catching the ball out of the backfield… they did not give him a chance to run the ball so you cannot judge him on that.. but the two things he was told to do he did a great job…
Clay Harbor- They haven’t giving him a chance really… and when he did he did not disappoint use…
Curits Marsh- Why… the few times we say him in the game he did a good job… he is a dime corner or nickel corner no question…
FREE AGENCY:
If we sign anyone from the free agent market it will be to address two places honestly and maybe not even that… I think we go after two players and if we do not get them we stick to the draft… Did the “Dream Team” BS not show us that signing big names is not the way to go? It is a hit or miss with Free Agents… So I believe that we will try to go after a Safety and an O lineman… They are not going to break the bank for these players (Asomugha, Babin, Jenkins). If we get them we get them if not, all well… build in the draft is better anyway I think… Just look at the Niners, Bal, NE, GB, NO, PITT… those are a few teams that build through the draft with maybe 1 or 2 free agents sprinkled in …
Safety- Jairus Byrd (with Levitre Tagged he might get a tender put on him) or Dashon Goldson he might be able to walk with others needing contracts…
Oline- Andy Levitre (is going to tagged) .. Now I would say Sebastian Vollmer or Branden Albert but both have had back issues and that is a gamble… can anyone say Shawn Andrews…
I like the draft of Oline and Safeties because it is a Deep class.... so i will not be sad if we do not get any Free Agents... outside our own...
TRADES:
St. Louis is not and will not trade their TWO FIRST ROUNDERS… They might trade one and a 2nd to move up but Jeff Fisher would have to be high and drunk to trade to 1st round picks when they are in a rebuilding stage and have big needs on the Oline and D line and Jackson is not getting any younger.
So I see use trading down in the first round with St. Louis who needs a LT bad and we will get their first round, 2nd` round 4th and next year’s 2nd to move up and grab Luke Joeckel...
I also see us making one maybe two drafts trades… a player and late pick to move up in the middle rounds of the draft.
For example: we could trade a forth and Nnamdi Asomugha to move up back into the 4th round(TB trade)
Also we trade Cullen Jenkins and 7th rounds pick to move back up in the 6th round (CLE TRADE)
DRAFT: WITH OUR TRADE WITH THE RAMS, CLE, and TB

The rames are in need of a LT badly and we need things in other areas... i believe peters comes back and is ready to go and next years draft will have some good Tackles in it and also this is a deep Oline class as well if we choice to add some olinemen... and if Luke Joeckel is there at 4 i believe the eagles phone will be ringing big time... and we will have our choice of trading partners... now the fact that everyone keeps picking the rams is because they have 2 number 1 picks and they can trade one away to get what they really want. ( i never said they will trade both picks).. remember how we got Jason Peters... We had two number ones that year and we traded one of our # 1 picks to get him from the bills... So thats is were we as FANS get the trade with the Rams from...

I can see the Rams using one of their 1st round picks to get into the top 10, I just don´t think they would need to get to the 4th pick to get an O-lineman. Joeckel the more I think of, most likely wont get to the 4th pick so maybe they will target either Eric Fisher if they want a OT or Warmack if they go OG. Both will probably go into the 6-10 range. So I don`t think we are the most likely team that they will trade with.
Don`t have much time now, but the rest of the draft is ok, I like Rhodes and Reid in the 2nd round, and Hodges in the 4th.
Dont like drafting a WR that high (maybe an OL pick for depht there?) and a RB.

Not saying I wouldn't mind the draft, but it's the same as other people's. Be original.
My next one I won't draft any player that I've seen numerous times in an Eagles mock.

thats also 5'9 and is pretty much forced to play in the slot
You may be right, however, an inch doesn't change everything. If you have speed, ball skills, and know how to take away the ball away you will make an impact in the NFL.
He can blitz, play man, drop back to safety, knows how to scoop and score, knows how to strip footballs out. We'll see at the Senior Bowl of he lines up on the edges.
This man was playing against SEC offenses at a very high level

I never said I wanted the kid. If the Eagles can draft Boykin, someone wil latke Matheiu lol.
Antoine Winfield was only able to play slot His entire career.
Same with Bradom Flowers Tim Jennings.
At 5'9 or 5'10 there are a dozen outside CBs

If that were to happen, it would be awesome! Fisher is the second best OT in the draft, Rhodes the second CB and Reid one of the best Safeties. Capping it of with Hodges, Manuel, Patton and Geathers. Would love that to happen! What a great draft would that be!

5'10 is small but playable, 5'9 not so much, and ya i know some one will take him lol, some one who needs a slot CB
but like you said we have Boykin so why would we need him.... picking Mathieu at all would be bad for us

Top 5 picks are valuable. Now more than ever since they don't cost as much as they used to in guaranteed money. It certainly costs way more than an extra 2nd to move up.

ROUND 1 (BUF) 8TH OVERALL: ERIC FISHER, OT, CENTRAL MICHIGAN - Solid pick. Might not be there.
ROUND 2 (OWN SELCTION) 35TH OVERALL: XAVIER RHODES CB, FLORIDA STATE - That's where many think he'll be. IMO there will be corner options at that spot.
ROUND 2 (STL) 41ST OVERALL: ERIC REID, S LSU - Don't like him as an NFL safety. Seems to have limited range in coverage. Good ball skills, but that's when the ball is thrown right at him.
67th OVERALL: GERALD HODGES, OLB, PENN S - Solid pick. No problems there.
ROUND 4 (OWN SELECTION) 98TH OVERALL: E.J MANUEL, QB, FLORDIA ST - Do you really think he falls that far? If anything he took a step forward at the Senior Bowl and athletically is very interesting.
ROUND 4(TB) 109 OVERALL: QUINTON PATTON, WR, LOUISIANA TECH - Another Senior Bowl bumper. Might not be there.
ROUND 5 (OWN SELECTION) 162 OVERALL: KWAME GEATHERS, DT, GEORGIA - Can't comment. Don't know him.
ROUND 6 (CLE) 165 OVERALL: DAVID QUESSENBERRY,G/T, SAN JOSE STATE - Really doubt he's a 6th rounder. Mayock was lovin the guy all week of Sr. Bowl practices.
ROUND 6 (DEN) 186 OVERALL: D.J. SWEARINGER, S, SOUTH CAROLINA - Can't comment. Don't know him.
ROUND 7 (OWN SELECTION) RYAN ALLEN, P, LOUISIANA - Sure.
