No trades this time, giving it a shot.

1. Chiefs - QB Geno Smith, WVU
- Lot of talk about Reid going with Joeckel, then maybe taking a QB in the 2nd or dealin back up into the tail end of the 1st and getting a QB.  Still, I think Smith is still a top 15 talent and reaching a bit on a QB seems to be the trend.  The Chiefs need a franchise QB desperately and IMO Smith can fit into Reid's scheme.

2. Jaguars - DE Bjoern Werner, FSU
- Gus is going to want to improve the pass rush.  He's a 43 guy, and I believe Werner has all the tools to be a premier DE in the NFL.  They need to improve on their DL pronto, and Werner will go a long way to doing that.

3. Raiders - OLB/DE Jarvis Jones UGA
- It was a toss up between him and Damontre Moore, but Jones' ceiling is a bit higher in my opinion.  Injury risk aside, I think he could end up being the best player in this draft long-term, and the Raiders really need a high end front 7 prospect to add to their aging core.

4. Eagles - OT Luke Joeckel, TAMU
- Though there's a chance Fisher jumps ahead of Joeckel, I think Chip Kelly knows this offensive line was embarrassing last year.  Can't rely on Peters coming back 100% and if worst comes to worse, or best comes to best per say, Joeckel can move to RT to start and then supplant Peters in a couple seasons.  Moving Herremans back to G, even to RG with a right handed QB taking over would solidify this OL when everyone else returns from an injury-riddled 2012 campaign.

5. Lions - CB Dee Milliner, Alabama
- They could go with a pass rushing LB, or even a number of different directions but the focus needs to be improving on a really terrible secondary.  Milliner may be a slight reach here, but he's pretty much the consensus best Dback in the draft and that's a major, major need for the Lions in 2013.

6. Browns - WR Keenan Allen, Cal
- They need weapons on the outside despite likely needing a franchise QB.  A bit of a need pick here over BPA, but the Browns need a #1 receiver and Allen's the best of the best in this draft class.

7. Cardinals - OT Eric Fisher, CMU
- 50+ sacks allowed last year, the Cardinals need to improve their offensive line if they expect to compete against the 49ers, Seahawks and improving Rams defense next year.  Fisher is sky-rocketing up draft boards after his Senior Bowl performance thus far and by April, he could even go higher than 7th.

8. Bills - QB Ryan Nassib, Syracuse
- Makes too much sense all the way around, if Nassib doesn't go higher.  Former coach at 'cuse, Doug Marrone needs to add a franchise QB to this roster because Ryan Fitzpatrick is not the answer in Buffalo.  Teams have been reaching on QB's for years now but ultimately, Nassib could be a big time QB in this league down the road.

9. Jets - OLB/DE Damontre Moore, TAMU
- The J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets have a plethora of needs all the way around, but Moore simply is the best player available at this point.  Their pass rush has been declining, so a boost here could go along way to returning the Jets to a premier defense next year.  Their offense, well, that's a different story.

10. Titans - DT Sheldon Richardson, Mizzou
- The Titans haven't had a bigtime DT since the Haynesworth days, so Munchak will try to boost their poor DL in this draft and/or via Free Agency.  Surprisingly, Star Lotulelei is passed up, but he's likely a better fit as a 34 NT.

11. Chargers - DT Star Lotulelei, Utah
- A really good scheme fit here, Star could be a real steal for San Diego whose defense is average, but not terrible.  He's a prototype 34 NT which is a need for the retooling Chargers.

12. Dolphins - WR Tavon Austin, WVU
- Though Corradelle Patterson may be a better prospect, the explosion factor of Austin could be too good to pass up.  He's a legit down-field threat every time he's out there and the Dolphins severely need an outside weapon to build around their QB Ryan Tannehill for the future.

13. Buccaneers - OG Chance Warmack, Alabama
- Not necessarily the biggest need here for the Tampa Bay Bucs, but Schiano has always liked to build his team around a power run game and having physical offensive lineman is always a big plus to build an offense around.  Warmack is just too good of a prospect to pass up here.

14. Panthers - DE Barkevious Mingo, LSU
- Surprising to see Mingo drop this far, the Panthers jump all over him at #14.  Though they could use a WR, TE, secondary help and DT help, Mingo brings a skillset that Ron Rivera will certainly recognize.  He could be used in a variety of ways and is an every down player to help their struggling defense.

15. Saints - DT Johnathan Hankins, OSU
- The Saints can really go a number of different directions, but they were awful on defense until very late in the season and building around a potential star DT is a good way to start.  They will really need to hit a home run in this draft to make up for a lack of picks in last year's draft.

16. Rams - S Eric Reid, LSU
- The Rams need to add safety help to their defense and I still believe Reid is the best one in this draft.  They have two first round picks, so they will need to help both sides of the football if they expect to be back in the NFC West race next year.

17. Steelers - LB Alec Ogletree, UGA
- The Steelers defense is getting old.  Very old.  It showed last year and giving their LB corps a shot in the arm must be a priority in the 2013 Draft for Mike Tomlin and company.  Ogletree is a tackling machine and has all the tools to really help their defense immediately.

18. Cowboys - LB Manti Te'o, Notre Dame
- Dallas pulls off a big shocker here and selects the controversial Manti Te'o.  Though they have Sean Lee and Demarcus Ware, Te'o could potentially fit in on the defensive side of the ball for the Cowboys despite being a more 4-3 MLB then 3-4  ILB.  Still, Jones love making a splash every year and he'll take what can be conceived to being a more "sexy" pick then a smart one despite Te'o's recent bizarre involvement with a fake girlfriend.

19. Giants - DE Ezekiel Ansah, BYU
- Surprise, surprise.  Another DE with a weird name for the Giants.  Despite the name, Ansah is a big time DE and with Osi Umenyiora reportedly moving on, Ansah actually makes a lot of sense for Big Blue.

20. Bears - WR Cordarrelle Patterson, Tennessee
- The Bears likely need to find a replacement for Urlacher, but they also need to give Brandon Marshall some help on the outside.  Giving Cutler all the weapons possible to work with needs to continue to be a priority and Patterson is really a solid pick here for Chicago.

21. Bengals - DE Datone Jones, UCLA
- A solid Senior Bowl for Jones thus far should shoot him up draft boards and he could go even higher than this.  Still, if he's here the Bengals need to jump on him.  He's a solid 43 DE and the Bengals could use another solid DE to add to their rotation.

22. Rams - OT D.J. Fluker, Alabama
- The Rams added help to the defensive side of the ball and now they add help to a very poor offensive line.  They likely could try to move up from #16 to grab one of the two top OT's, but that likely is a pipe dream.  Fluker is solid, though, and they need to keep Bradford upright because it's not time to give up on him just yet.

23. Vikings - WR Robert Woods, USC
- Minnesota really needs to come out of this draft with some receiving threats because Harvin is a bit injury prone and since losing Sidney Rice to Seattle, they haven't had any good downfield threats.  If they wish for Ponder to be successful and keep up with the Bears, Packers and Lions, they need to give him more help on the outside.

24. Colts - C Barrett Jones, Alabama
- They miss Jeff Saturday.  Hopefully they can develop the same kind of relationship that they had with Manning/Saturday with this pick of Jones along with last year's #1 pick Andrew Luck.  Makes a lot of sense all the way around.

25. Seahawks - TE Zach Ertz, Stanford
- Kid's a baller and adding a couple more weapons for Russell Wilson could go along way towards going further in the playoffs in 2013.  A bit shocking that they go with Ertz rather than Eifert I suppose, but I believe Ertz will be an even better pro.  A bit of a luxury pick but one that can pay huge dividends for Pete Carroll.

26. Packers - TE Tyler Eifert, Notre Dame
- Jermichael Finley is old and reportedly may not be back in Green Bay next year.  They need help on defense, but keeping this well-oiled offense going also needs to be a priority for the Cheeseheads moving forward.

27. Texans - DT Jesse Williams, Alabama
- Williams is explosive and although some scouts seem to think he's not an every down player, the ceiling of Williams has to make Wade Phillips excited.  They have the DE's and the LB's, but could use help inside though I'm not sure if Williams projects more as a DE or a DT in a 34 scheme.

28. Broncos - CB Johnathan Banks, Miss St.
- Could be viewed as a knee-jerk reaction by Denver after their horrific collapse in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, but Champ Bailey isn't getting any younger and it's time to add some youth to that secondary.

29. Patriots - DE/OLB Dion Jordan, Oregon
- Probably no way Jordan lasts this long but I've seen mocks have him going all over the place as far as the second round.  I think they may have to deal up to get him, but if he's here Belichick would be thrilled.  Jordan's a real wildcard in the 2013 draft.

30. Falcons - OG Johnathan Cooper, UNC
- Falcons are still looking to improve their offensive line and Cooper could be the best player available.  Their GM was quoted as saying the OL and DL are really impressive, so this certainly makes sense.

31. Ravens - S Matt Elam, Florida
- Everyone's on Elam's jock, but there's no way he goes at the top of round 1.  Baltimore needs to replace Ray Lewis (impossible to do) but Ed Reed is old also so Elam could be groomed to take over for Reed either in 2013 or 2014.

32. 49ers - S Kenny Vaccaro, Texas
- This is dependent on if Gholdson is retained or not, but Vacarro could be a nice fit in Jim Harbaugh's defense.  Whether or not they win the Super Bowl remains to be seen, but either way I think Vaccaro is a better fit in SF with Elam a better fit in Baltimore.

I commend you for actually posting a legit MOCK DRAFT in the mock draft forum... Everyone else seems to want to play Madden / give in to wishful thinking and just throw out who they want the Eagles to get. While that is easier, and ultimately what most of us are most interested in, I wish more people would try and work out a full mock so they can see how unrealistic it is to get a top 50 player in the 4th round (for example). Trying to fit all the pieces together of what OTHER teams need really helps clarify the picture of who is likely to go where and when. That being said, it really is all a crap shoot and there will absolutely be surprises on draft weekend - there always are.

Anyway, I think you did a pretty good job here. Really, there's not a single pick that doesn't make sense, at least before we see how free agency shakes out. Well done.

Do you think Lotulelei will last that long?

Hopefully Xavier Rhodes continues to stay on the board till the Eagles pick in round 2.

That would be great.  I strongly doubt it though

I always viewed him as a top ten pick, but I looked at everyone's needs and he just fell to San Diego at 11.  Probably could go to Oakland, Philly, NYJ, or Tennessee.  Then again everyone had Cox going top 10 but he fell to 12.

Can see it unfolding like this. Then again, don't think the Bucs draft a Guard. Biggest need for them is a CB. As long as we get Rhodes in the second, I'm really happy! Good job!

Very plausible draft. Hopefully one of those safeties in the late first can last to the second, but you are probably right.

I really don't see the Eagles taking Joeckel.

I agree. He has been attached to us since the 1st mock draft came out.  Our o line is coming back healthy.  Yes we could use some depth but I wouldnt waste a top 5 pick just because there are so many other needs on defense.

Cleveland doesn't need Allen. Little and Gordon are developing nicely.

Titans aren't going dline they said, and de is a bigger need than dt.

Bucs picks makes zero sense. Maybe you forgot who's on their roster. One of the best g pairs in Joseph and nicks.

I think ur overreacting to datone jones week.

I haven't seen anyone who still views Robert woods a first rounder.

Otherwise fair job. Only two weird players and 3 matches that dont make sense. people are going to be so disappointed when the bills don't take nassib. College Coaches picking their former players is very overstated. Happens much less

With the way Nassib has syriggled in the senior bowl saying he will go top 10 is a big stretch
