>>BG93: iffn, Chipper get the LB coach from Ravens as the DC...Ravens play 4-3 and 3-4. Just add one big man at NT,put Jenkins and Cox beside him and Voila...you got 3. Stick Chaney and Kendrick at ILB and Graham or Cole or Curry at OLB...and maybe you gots 4.

Try not to over think it and get to innovative. Great execution beats innovation every day...or did we learn nothing from 14 seasons of Andy Reid and 10 of Mornhinweg and 2 of McDermott.

BG93: Chippa will be OK with me if he puts Shady at slot or flanker and Brown behind the QB. I'd like to see what Havili and Polk can do with the rock. I know that Shady on the end of a pass in space is money.

>>BG93: truth be told, the 2012 season has worn me out. it's hard work being a fan and going 4-12...really 2-14. And, watching a coaching goat rodeo and one squirrelly decision after another.

If Kelly works out as well as Castillo did as DC...I think Jeff Lurie needs to consider selling the team and taking his profits to another industry. After several years of declining play from the Eagles under Reid, Lurie took the sinking ship right to the bottom. He did the exact same thing with Ray Rhodes. I guess he means to get all the air outta the fan base?

Hey BG....what is it with you and "are"?  At first I thought it was just a common typo, but I'm noticing a pattern there buddy.  Try plugging this in from time to time "our".  "Our" team will be better....Sounds better than "are" team will be better.

Ray Lewis used the ban substance and everybody knows it. BUT he wont suffer any repercussions because its his last game and he is a "star". Give me a break.

Wood, do you really think Brown will change his carrying style and stay relevant in the NFL? I dont question his talent, but there are MANY RBs with less talent that are better because they don't carry the ball like he does. I hope he proves me wrong but I'd prefer a Lewis or Polk to be the 2nd RB because of consistency....Polk of course is untested but demonstrates more consistency from his style.

Senrok - Brown should be ok.. Shady carries it loosely as well.. Gives you more balance to cut n option to bump a player off.. Diff is Shady braces him self n tucks the ball in before contact which Brown needs to make a habbit.. Got no prob with there style of runnin tho

BG - Nice mock bud you made few changes huh

>>senhor: I have very poor objectivity with Bryce Brown. I want him to make it...as an Eagle.

I excuse his technique because he missed 4 years of high level college football. His technique would have been corrected. Also, he should be an awesome kick return guy...along the lines of Herschel Walker or Vai Sikahema...one cut and whoosh. He is just so raw and unschooled. His ceiling (barring injury) assuming he absorbs coaching is very high. Wilbert Montgomery high. Maybe even Walter Payton high. I think he has more potential than McCoy....

BUT it is only potential. His  attitude has to want the NFL--in HS and college he slid by on pure physical talent. even Michael Vick handled college better than Bryce Brown...THATS how "squirrelly" and how much of a reach Brown is...SQUIRREL BRAINED. Can he mature, develop and grow up making hundreds of thousands of dollars and all the temptations of the good life? Quite a hill to climb...

You rode thoroughbreds...he's a 2-3 y/o that's very very very green, and very stubborn....with some dangerous bad habits. Now saddle up!

Re Post:DDD>Chip is suppose to be a genius on the O side of things but my concern for us to compete is the D. I'm not saying we win the division but if we have a solid draft we might have a shot. If we draft Dee millimer, phillip thomas, and a big DT in the 3rd, I feel we might stand a chance

@senhorcook: Well, if they'll overlook "Accomplice after the fact," they'll overlook "Deer-antler spray."

@bckarpman: You may wanna call 911.

@jwood5151: At least Leonard Tose cared about the team, not the selling price.

nobody knows what kelly is.

nobody.

so there's no point comparing him, positively or pessimistically, to any other.

we have to wait. and it's even worse than waiting with reid at the helm, considering how much hope this new headcoach and staff are embodying. time needs to accelerate !! bruzer, what good are you if you can't concoct us a contraption similar to yours, allowing time travel ? huhmmmh ?

Listen at this point i truly believe the wide nine got the best of these guys. They racked up some sacks Cole and Babin in 2011. But the wide nine was new and teams did not know how to defend it. Well, they figured it out. They had no counter to the max protection schemes and undersized DE's where getting double teamed. Swallowed up, Cox did the best he could but Jenkins was no Suh, if you no what mean. Paterson was ill and Dixon just did not get better. Landri tried hard but with their LB's in free coverage all the time and poor secondary we were doomed. We have an O, with another draft and  free agency, we could be a top scoring and yardage type of O. The line injuries and Vick's horrible mistakes, not to mention Marty was a meat head. We had no chance to succeed. Same with Cole and now Graham and even Hunt. Those are some Demarcus ware type linebackers. Beasts will destroy people. Just need a couple bigger D lineman. The pieces are here. Cole as a Linebacker. Like the sound of that.

Draft Jones from GA and have Kendricks and Ryan at ILB then let Cole and Grahm fight it out in training camp.
