After the stock pictures were taken she put on the poundage.

I have taken dumps that were more than 2 pounds.  

All she had to do was take a dump and she would have made weight.

I'm siding with Courtney Lenz on this one. I can somewhat relate to her on this. I can't believe some of them and you calling her fat for just gaining 1.8 pounds. She's not even fat to begin with. How would you people feel if you lost your job because you gain weight. Try to be in her shoes with cheerleading. I bet most, if not, all of you wouldn't be able to perform moves. You'd fall flat on your heads. Like I said from time to time, no body has a "perfect body." Remember my "infamous posts?" That's something I pointed out somewhat. What's wrong with today's society? They go for flash. Back in day, women can enjoy themselves at beauty pageants without really worrying about their weight. Nowadays, women have to worry about being rejected for being 2 pounds "overweight." It's sad that these cheerleaders have to constantly worry about their weight. Ignore scale and focus on talent. There's women that suffer from anorexia because of stuff like this.

I wouldn't blame her one bit and hope she wins. Someone needs to teach these kind of bullies a lesson. BAL Ravens should be ashamed of itself. I'd like to see someone from BAL Ravens organization do cheerleading moves in front of a crowd and see if they could do same things as her. Maybe "fat" people in Ravens association should be forced to lose weight like they do to cheerleaders or get punished to see how it feels.

Under federal discrimination laws, weight is not a protected class, which means that, for the most part, your boss can refuse to promote you, can harass you, and can fire you due to your weight. However, there are some ways that you might be protected under the law if you are overweight.  

According to the linked article, She would have to prove she was fired due to morbid obesity under the Americans with disabilities act. The Ravens are also a Private
employer and not a Government agency. It sucks for her,but some forms of discrimination are perfectly legal. The only types of discrimination protected by Law
are Race,Color,Sex, Religion,and country of origin.

Former Spurs Center David Robinson had his 4 year Navy commitment  cut to 2 years because he grew 7 inches  after he joined. The maximum height allowed
by the Navy is 6'6". Robinson grew to 7'1" before he graduated from the academy. That was bad for his Navy career,but not so bad for his dream of playing
in the NBA. Did the Navy discriminate against Robinson? Yes they did,but it's also unrealistic to require the Navy to redesign every ship in their fleet to
accommodate a   seven foot tall recruit.

There is a local casino where I live that has a one  size  Cocktail waitress uniform. If it doesn't fit a prospective applicant,she will not be hired. This policy has
been in place ever since they opened 20 years ago,and it's still in effect. If it were illegal discrimination,the courts would have forced them to change the policy.
