Click here to access your 2013 ticket renewal online. As you will see, there is an increase in your 2013 season ticket price. This is the first ticket price increase since 2009. Despite this increase, our average ticket price remains the lowest in the NFC East, and is in the middle third of the NFL.

This is sooooooooooooo wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't get it, why would they raise ticket prices after their worst season since 1998.

Eagles have won less than 5 games twice in the past 40 years or so (1998 & 1982)....add 2012 to that list

So you'd be fine if they raised the season ticket prices every year as long as they finished with a good record? No raise since 2009. Stop your whining!

The increase is for improvements on the stadium (at least they claim to be).

We'll find out in a couple years. Sure hope they improve on making the stadium's crowd noise louder.

Look at the Redskins, though. It's been 7 years, but they're now winning

Terrible timing. My guess is between the economy and the team's performance that they haven't been able to do an increase in the last 4 but finally had to (in their own minds anyway). As they said they are still the lowest ticket price in the nfc east. I'm not defending them though. Given the product they just fielded raising ticket prices seems ridiculous,

It's called running a business.
Don't want to hurt your feelings,, but the #1 priority of 100% of every business is to make money.
Then as a business owner you have to understand what you can and can't do to maintain your profitable business. And what the Eagles can do is raise prices almist whenever they want and tge stadium would still sell out.
They fully understand that if you don't want to pay the increase there are thousands of other dummy's that would jump right in.

I get the response but they haven't increased the price in 4 years.  The prices were going to have to go up at some point in time and as you said its not like they're the most expensive tickets out there.

Its not the best timing but they're trying to sell the change if they really need to sell these tickets at all.  Yeah they're coming off of two bad seasons.   However they fired the guy who most held responsible for that and there will be a #4 overall draft pick joining the team.

If thay would put on Quality entertainment, the fans would stay for the whole game raising their profits from food, beverages and merchandise.

They have put out a QUALITY product almost every year since Lurie has taken over excluding a few years.
I know all you fans live in la la land and think a friggen team is supposed to win 10-11-12-13 games every year and go to NFCCGs every year and are complete failures unless they win a SB.
But that's only in la la land.
I like to live in reality though.

Whining about ticket prices of the eagles seriously? Its a business kids. They have one of the longest waiting lists for season tickets in all of professional sports yet they're still cheaper than half the league. You don't want to pay. Fine, no one forces you to buy their tickets. Get over it and stop crying.

Will the current season ticket holders pay it? Will new customers be willing to pay the new price and take season tickets out of the hands of those who are not?

If the answer to either of these two questions is yes...

I wouldn't pay one thin dime until I see a team that support me just as I support them.  If Andy Reid continued to remain as the HC I was going to cancel my NFL Sunday Ticket.  But with the New HC on board I'll hold off.  But no way would I pay for tickets and the price went up for a team trying to find themselves.  From here on out a person is going to games hoping they don't get beat too bad.  Actually the prices should be lower.  That's good business.  If they were a team that put on a show thru Kicking arses,  raise those prices so that you can get your moneys worth.  :nonono:
