Not Returning:
Patterson DT
Bell OT
Nnamdi CB
Landri DT
Tapp DE
Coleman FS

Resign:
Dorenbos LS-- Need a long snapper and a magician
Anderson FS--Played well in start and great in ST
DRC CB--History with new DC, too young and talented to let him walk

Trade:
Cole DE to Jaguars for a 5th round pick in 2014 draft, doesn't fit new scheme

Free Agency:
Gosder Cherilus OT--Leaves Detroit with lots of young tackles, Eagles overpay to solidify line
Patrick Chung SS--Major need and not too expensive with these other signings
Paul Kruger OLB--Perfect scheme fit and can be dynamic rusher
Dennis Dixon QB--Obvious, talks already started.  Has connections to Kelly, depth player

Draft:
1(Bengals): Jesse Williams NT--Great run stuffer and big body demands double teams, position of need
2: Xavier Rhodes CB--Excellent corner who can start day 1 at a high level
2(Bengals): Barrett Jones C/OG--3 members of line are over 30 and Jones is versatile and can bring youth
3: Jonathan Cyprien S--Excellent senior bowl, knows how to hit, and can really play in lacking secondary
4: Brennan Williams OT--Can compete for start and quality depth for O line in case of injuries again
5: Lonnie Pryor FB--Good blockers like Pryor will help a lot with Chips new run based offense

Starters:
QB: Foles/Vick
RB: McCoy
FB: Pryor
WR1: Jackson
WR2: Maclin
Slot WR: Avant
TE: Celek
LT: Peters
LG: Mathis/Jones
C: Kelce/Jones
RG: Herremans/Jones
RT: Cherilus

DE: Cox
NT: Williams
DE: Jenkins
ROLB: Graham
MLB1: Ryans
MLB2: Kendricks
LOLB: Kruger
CB1: DRC
Slot CB: Boykin
FS: Chung
SS: Cyprien
CB2: Rhodes

I think it looks pretty good, but we should at least take a shot on a guy like Andre Smith in free agency for RT. I also like the idea of the OLB, but not Moore, especially in the 3-4. Would rather take a shot on a guy like Jordan, Ansah, or Mingo

I think Moore was one of the most consistent pass rushers but if we traded back I'd want Dion Jordan

I'd want either Mingo (This spin move http://t.co/kMk80Tee) or Dion Jordan if we trade back

Updated my mock offseason to trade back in first round and select Dion Jordan instead of drafting Damontre Moore at 4

Honestly, the determining factor was that I thought the best trade down scenario based on the value chart for the eagles was with the Bucs and I believe Mingo will be gone at 13, also I like Jordan a lot.  I think this mock offseason is really good for the eagles and its realistic

I am always hard on mocks so here i go....

Trent Cole is not going for a 3rd round pick. He's 30 years old and on the downside of his career.

Desmond Trufant & Elam will not last to those picks. Elam has a better chance of lasting, but not Trufant. Trufant is listed as the 15th ranked player in the 2013 NFL Draft (CBS)

Why would the Buccaneers do that trade? People are not explaining why these teams are moving up and trading a valuable 2nd round pick with it.

Your right about Cole so I changed that to a 5th and I explained the Bucs trade.  I think it's realistic

Looks good to me now. Jordan, Elam, and Poyer are very good picks that could all definitely be starting in 2013. EJ Manuel is an ok pick in the 3rd, only because of the upside. Not a big fan of Kwame Geathers, but i do like Oday.

Regardless, the first 3 picks of the draft are solid...if the Bucs were to trade their pick

i would prefer if you dumped Manuel out of this draft, and i guess get Alford maybe? or Cyprien?
theres a good chance we'll go after Dixon cause he was great with Kelly (apparently, i never watched)
and the QBs in the next draft are better anyway... we should wait cause Manuels bust potential is hiiiiiiiiigh

I like that better. Jordan is very raw but if we take him we know Chip thinks he is going to be great since he coached him at Oregon. I like Moore better as a 4-3 DE, he doesn't show great speed or athleticism when he plays.

Why sign a SS in FA then draft another with your 2nd pick?  Poyer is good but he's more of a cover 2 guy - don't know if we're going there.  We need a NT in FA or earlier in the draft.  I'm not sold on Manuel even though I'm an FSU fan.  Seriously, Dennis Dixon or (slam me now) even the T word might do just as well.  Foles isn't a mobile QB but he's mobile enough in the pocket to get it done IMHO.  Give him a shot at it.  Plus, who says we're going read-option?  We could easily run an O similar to the Pats which has a lot of Chip's elements in it.

The trade is realisitc

Because both Moore and Elm can play both safety spots

Aboushi's stock is in free-fall after a pretty miserable showing in the Sr. Bowl - a lot of analysts now saying he may have to play guard.

Thats a solid move. If we are picking a guy there, a high upside pick there could be Terron Armstead from Arkansas Pine-Bluff. By all reports he's very athletic for an OL and would fit well in a ZBS. 4-5th round projection.
