Is it too much to put Strahan, Sapp and Allen in in one class? Parcells and Modell as well... Maybe Cris Carter gets in to add a splash of offense

Wow, i could see a player like Larry Allen not making it with all of those greats in there. Some of those names easily make it in a different class

I'm curious to see if Tim Brown gets in or if maybe his recent comments may keep him out for another year (or more).

I think Stragap gets in and if he does then it'd be a good time for Parcells, then the Gnats will play in the HOF Game. Of Sapp also gets in then it'll be the Gnats and Bucs in the HOF game, though I'd love to see Sapp get snubbed for a year or two.

Tim Brown didn't make the cut to 10. Not a big surprise for me.

what a joke Strahan didnt get in.

this is why the HOF is a joke. Its the writers way of making themselves feel important. Strahan was the best pass rusher of his generation and has the sack record for a season, won a SB, is among the all time leaders in sacks and had no off-field problems. Mmmkay

I'm a bit surprised by that, honestly though, if given my choice and I had to pick one of two to get in, I'd take him over Sapp. Haley should have gotten the nod over Sapp though.

i dont get why there is a limit everyone nominated deserved it. Are they trying to make it more exclusive or something? Writers making it about the writers again.

Larry may be the best Guard of all-time and he doesn't get in?

I understand the limit, if there was no limit then you could end up with a class of 50. It kind of cheapens it. Make it exclusive and it means more.

 He got in.

Sapp over Strahan, with absolutely no bias whatsoever, is quite the joke.

Ah well, theres always next year. Its a good, strong class overall.

Yeah, it always pissed me off that Buddy cut him. We had a future Hall of Fame WR and cut him. Further back in our history, we had a future Hall of Fame QB and traded him to the Redskins!

You do know that buddy Ryan cut him because of his drug / alcohol abuse don't you?

He had alcohol and drug abuse, large amounts of ecstasy and marijuana being his drugs of choice. Any coach would of have cut him.

He still credits Buddy Ryan for helping him turn his life around as a result.

You do know that "it always pissed me off" is used in the past tense, don't you? You also further know that it wasn't widely known about the drug and alcohol abuse back then, don't you? You also further know that in the 80's we didn't have Wikipedia to use or Google or an EMB or a PE.COM or all of the other resources that are available now, don't you?

Yes, I know that now and I've know it for a number of years now. I didn't know it back then though so it "pissed me off" (past tense).
