what a bunch of crap this was. why put on a half time show that resembles a mtv video? if your looking to go that route why not hire performers from all types of musical back grounds and do a montage of all influences mixed into a stage super show.

I never care for the Halftime show and am not a Beyonce fan, as far as music goes, but I thought the show was well down, conceptually.

Thought it was awful. She obviously wasn’t mining because she sounded like ****. And then at least 60% of the performance she was dancing not singing.
I like how she’s this icon for “single women”- yet  she’s happily married with a small child.

I'm actually okay with Beyonce bouncing around on stage looking right in to the camera.

Truth is I don't care at all. This might be the first Superbowl 1/2 time show I watched in the past 10 years. The only reason was that I was sick at home catching the game. Otherwise it's really just a time to drain then grab another beer.

Didn't watch it.  Not really interested in seeing some classless bimbo shaking her but all over a stage and auto tuning or lip syncing her "music".

They ought to use Beyonce to replace that kid in the phone commercial that can do 2 things at once.  She can say "Look, I can shake my arse and my head at the same time."

When I was sitting here I said the same exact thing. I only want to see that! I don't care about her singing live.

None of their performances was "over the top" as you would normally expect SB performances to go. You know A. Keys isn't about over singing things especially in front of that many people. Beyonce's was tired becasue she is singing material from 10 years ago. All the negative Diva press she been getting only supported the idea that she is an attention seeker no matter the stage.

The halftime show was so overproduced and could could hardly tell what she was singing. I cant even believe there is some talk today about halftime being better than the game (heard that from two people on ESPN and NFL Network). Destiny's Child reunion....snooze. If I were Destiny's Child I would despire Beyoncé and he ego. She left them in the dust to go solo. I believe at one time they were five members and she fired two of them. Aritsts like this also do not draw the buzz/attention a vetern musican/rock band does because those acts have a larger range of fans, many generations. I'm sure there were many older people watching the SB who had no idea who Beyoncé is.

Puppy Bowl was over by the Super Bowl. 3pm-5pm but they showed repeats all day.

Yeah I could totally see Bad Brains perform Pay To **** before millions. Next year's SB will be a massive disaster in NY. Look at how cold it is right now in NY. Good weather for playing football but for all the media, parties etc...awful. I remember when it was in Jacksonville the one year and it was like 50 and rainy. Everyone was miserable. I would imagine next year they somehow work Alica Keys and hew New York song into the SB. It will likely be the anthem.

Oh and the commericals this year were among the worst ever except for the Doritos goat ad and the Budwiser Clidesdale ad. Godaddy.com needs to stop making SB ads. For years they went with the nudity angle and tried to get you to go to the site and now they are going with gross-out humor with a hot chick making out with a nerdy fat kid.
