Have all of the teams play their division games at the end of their schedule, college BB does it with their conference games, IMO , it would make a division run pretty intense

the nfl has been back loading with division games the past couple years.  you want it to be exclusive?  like all division games?

Yep, this, another thing is with this, if your team is having a lousy season, nothing like beating a rival late in the year, or perhaps twice within 2 to 3 weeks.

Good part of the idea is any team can make an end run and win the division.  Play Off picture will be up in the air till end.
(bad idea for NY giants who suck in Dec)

Only if the games were played on a Friday afternoon at 3pm

Or Wednesday at 1:37 PM with the second part of the double header to be played the Thursday of the following week at 4:26 PM.

Except before Christmas when Wall Street bankers can't make it to the games because they're busy being awesome family men and none of this makes any damn sense.

We also have to make sure none of this interferes with the airing of the Conan O'Brien show.

That's a good idea. Even with scheduling division games in Weeks 16 & 17, we've seen teams try to coast. It would make for much more interesting games. We'd see very few if any divisions clinched by Thanksgiving.

That would be sweet. Weeks 11-#17 should be all our divisional games.

The first 10 games should be the extra games, and the last 6 divisional games would make December a great month for football.

Divisional games are already scheduled exclusively during the final week of the season.

I'm not sure if they've had all that great of an effect. The Ravens vs Bengals game at the end of the season was still meaningless, as were several others. If a team has a playoff seeding or spot wrapped up, playing a divisional opponent isn't going to matter, and starters are still going to be rested.

I like it better with the division games spread throughout the season, but who knows, have to see something like that in action before making a good opinion of it

The NFL already does this the last week of the season, and also tries to have a lot of divisional games in the next-to-last week as well.  That led to the off quirk last season where the Colts and Texans didn't play each other until Week 15 and wound up playing each other twice in the last three weeks of the year.

Doing it for more than what they are doing already could create some logistical problems, especially with the Raiders still sharing a stadium with the A's and other teams sharing parking facilities even if they play in different stadiums in the same city.
