Signing him was a panic move from the jump. When Peters went down they got scared and felt like they had to go sign somebody. This guy was terrible. There was a reason why no team had signed him before the Eagles did.

I know what you are trying to say, but IMO Mudd was overrated.

Manning was why those Indy lines looked so good. Manning rarely got sacked in Denver either while the Eagles qb's were getting beat up pretty good under Mudd.

He was actually considered the BPA in FA at the position. Which says more about the available crop than it does about Bell particularly.
