Neither move registered signifcantly in the Fan-Drama-Meter, but the Eagles made a couple of moves on Wednesday that at the very least get the wheels churning for what should be a verrrrrrrrry interesting few months ahead ...

Hmm didnt know that last years left over cap space gets added on to thiis years cap.. So Eagles are 5mil under cap im guessing without the cuts.. So with Bell cut thats a good chunk of free cap now.. Good work Eagles

If the 3-4 is coming then it goes pretty much without saying that the whole organization realizes it's rebuilding time. I believe it is pretty much common knowledge that it takes At Least two years to transition to this defense.

yea that was AR who loved smaller guys. Chip said he wants bigger longer players. He was signed as OLB. ArR would even say he is small for DE.

'nother 'tweener. Bye Bell, Bye! If Peters, Kelce n Herremans come back strong, our backups can go back to being backups, shed a few, grab a few in FA/trades, draft a few mid-late rounds. Oline fixed. O fixed. 3/4s of our draft should be D. Start bringing in smart young talent.

Cham...12 and 20 over the last 2 years...cannot win at home. We are rebuilding no matter the 43 or 34 D.

With Peters I'm just hoping he can be at 70 percent. Two acchilles injuries. Most struggle the next season after having one. Add in Peters size. keep expectations low. He will be a work in progress this coming season. Still I think Peters at 70 percent is an upgrade so it's positive

yeah 3D, we sucked. Still think there is a lot of talent on O n D n we can reshape instead of rebuild.

Triple Ds you know that and i know that but I think it was a bit important that the guys running the franchise show they knew that. That was kinda the point I was getting at.

Peters happened so early that he has already had the extra time rehabbing. Hopefuilly all he needs is to get into 'football' shape. Guess we will see, unleaa Chip has suprises on O coming.

Talent...yes...some...but too many of our guys were not putting out maximum effort. That must change.

Just sounds to me that they are looking for DE/OLB that can possibly cover a RB or TE, etc.

Anyone else think trading Jason Peters is worth consideration? This is his 2nd injury on the Eagles. We also signed him coming off of an injury from Buffalo. That's 3 significant injuries. If we draft a stud LT with the 4th pick that can hold down the left side for the next 10 years..why not trade Peters for 1st or 2nd round pick..Not to mention he's on the wrong side of 30..

Yeah, there was no leadership last year and especially on D, no one picked up for the failed DC experiments. N

To finish, so yeah, things have to change or the man will get his rebuilding.

these guys haven't been playing a 3-4 D. It's rebuilding. It would be shocking to me if the team could finish in the top Half of the league in D this coming season.

I'm looking at the team needing a top tackle with keeping Peters
