Tough question.  If we ask this question again after most of the offseason moves, Like draft and free agency. I might pick differently.

Browns on paper look like a better staff... but that org made Bellichick look bad...

I need to see what our roster looks like before making that prediction.  I believe KC is going to do pretty good.  Andy is a good coach and that team has a decent roster already.

I'll tell you what I do know - change is here - like I said in the pinned thread, I've been use to losing lately - haven't we all?  SO, having some new faces/ideas/personnel/etc. isn't a bad thing.

Its not a sexy hire...but then again, what is sexy about this team as it stands right now?  This will take some time most likely, fellas.

I'm actually thinking the Chiefs will bounce back under Reid and have the best record, but I may be overvaluing the talent they have on defense. Chalk it up to my obsession with having a strong presence in the secondary and how awesome I think Berry will be.

The big question mark will be at QB for the Cheif ... well that and DOUG PEDERSON as OC....

Not saying he cant do it... just SMH ..... with a wait and see attitude.. I have to remember how Reid failed to put a Good DC in after we lost JJ.....

I agree with this. Maybe the hire will turn out just fine, yea it is not the bigger name we wanted like Leavitt, Monachino or Donatell but who knows maybe this guy does quite well, but it will take time. Signing the big names does not always do well, hence Spags in NO......before he was signed this whole board had a thread with 20 pages saying that we were stupid if we didn't bring in Spags....but look what happened to him in NO, just saying.

All I care is that there are new faces here, we all wanted new faces and were getting it. Little hires like Shurmur and Billy Davis maybe can do us some good.....speaking of the two, I wonder if Shurmur put in a good word for Davis since he was at Cleveland.

Regarding the Davis hire.....the guy has proven to get the best of his LB's. Hopefully with this guy coaching under Cowher, Philips and Capers he has somethings to bring even though his past has not been all that great. Time will tell but it is actually different to see names being hired around here that no one wanted or expected.

I think there are question marks at QB for all 3 teams, because I'm not sold on Cassel or Weeden, and who knows who'll line up under center for us come September.

As for Pederson, he'll just be a manager of the offense that Reid will install anyhow. I doubt he'll even call the plays on gameday. He's a younger less-experienced version of Shurmur (who was a QB coach under Reid also.)

Reid will get a QB, he always seems to somehow. He can take Geno if he wants as well

I don't see that happening. Not when he can take Joeckel or Jones.

Hopefully Davis works out, the Eagles were historically bad on defense last year especially in the takeaway department, they tied for last with KC I think so that has to improve no matter who the coach is.  I just don't see how this guy is any better than Rob Ryan, at least Ryan knows the division and wants to crush the Cowboys.

Like Kelly though he should get at least 2 years before we run him out of town.

KC, then the Eagles and finally the Browns.

The Chiefs will have the best record for a few reasons:
1. Outside of Denver their divison is terrible.
2. Philly is switching around their offensive and defensive schemes which will take time to get the right personnel
3. Chiefs currently have a much better roster than the Browns hence their pro bowlers

Chiefs are in the best position to have immediate success

I think so too. Playing the Raiders and Chargers twice each is much better than playing the Bengals and Steelers twice.

That would've been worse I think. Too many distractions with the media circus that would've ensued if he were named DC.

I like the Browns Assistants better than the rest but I beleive Reid's missing the least amount of pieces. They already had good players on D and they got Bowe and Charles and a big line so with a number 1 pick, id be excited if I was a chiefs fan.

Chiefs dont have a QB.

I may be a little biased but Id say the Eagles will have just as good of a record as other teams mentioned. I believe Kellys will to win is much higher than AR's and the Browns in general.

Thats my BOLD prediction

One could argue that none of the 3 teams have the answer at QB. Not knocking Foles but I'm not sure if he can run Kelly's offense or more importantly if Chip thinks he can..

Looking at the situations, I'd have to say the Eagles. The Chiefs are still in a division with Peyton Manning & Phillip Rivers. The Chiefs have a mess of a QB situation and two of their best players on offense are free agents and could possibly be in new uniforms next year. For the Browns they have to make a decision on their QB situation as well. Norv may be able to get something out of Weeden but their defense is also in transition once again. They're going back to a 3-4 and it's hard to say whether or not the transition would be easy. Also you factor in their division. The Super Bowl champions, the Steelers, and Bengals all of whom are better than the Browns. The Browns also don't have a lot offensively. Josh Gordon could end up being a steal for the Browns. But outside of him what's really there for them at receiver? Trent Richardson's gonna look to improve on a pedestrian rookie season with some flashes but overall it wasn't all that special.

Now looking at the Eagles, they have 3 key members of the offensive line coming back. They have Desean Jackson coming back healthy and likely with an expanded role. They have McCoy coming back healthy. Regardless of who the QB is (Foles or Vick, let's not start that debate) the Eagles could take advantage of this division. The Cowboys could be dealing with a head coach who's coaching for his job as the minute passes. The Redskins may be in trouble with RG3 recovering from a torn ACL and the Giants are the Giants. They have inconsistencies that they need to work on. I'm sure this is gonna come across as being biased but that's how I see it. The Eagles are in position to win more than the Browns & Chiefs.

Here's the thing, we don't know what Kelly's offense is gonna look like. I hear people say Foles can't run Kelly's offense. They're just pointing to the Oregon offense and using that as the starting point and in reality that's all there is to go on at this point. Unless of course people wanna point to New Hampshire where he didn't have a QB with a lot of mobility. Or if they wanna point to New England when Chip Kelly helped them install the no huddle offense and we know Brady can't run to save his life. If I had to choose, I'd say the offense could be a mixture of what the Eagles are built for, what Green Bay & New England may do, & a little bit of what Chip Kelly did at Oregon.
