Welcome, this is awesome. Billy Davis is a hardcore dirt on his face coach. For the month we had all heard of Gus Bradley we decided he was the tough guy coach we needed.

Actually that Coach is Billy Davis. This defense will be tough.

This club doesn't have a members jacket but there is talk of cardigans.

I think the motivation behind this was similar to the Shurmur hire.  He needed someone with NFL experience to help transition the slew of college level guys, while also transitioning us to a 3-4.  Worst comes to worst he helps raise the level of our LBs then is gone in 2 years.  Realistically we won't be competitive before then anyway.

Donatell/Grantham didn't exactly have a lot of DC success before this either, and I would have serious concerns about Leavitt/Monachino being able to transition a defense with a coaching staff full of mostly college-level guys.  Not a great hire but the world isn't ending.  There's a method to this madness.

Also, this guy has a rep at developing LBs.  Bodes well for Kendricks/Graham/Ryans.  Also could lead to big things if we draft a guy like Jarvis Jones. F it, I'll join the club...if you'll have me.

Hmmm...this is a valid point.  As a sworn Davis hater, your sales pitch intrigues me.  Juan was a LB coach in college 20 years ago, though, and he didn't pan out.  Your gonna need to step up your sales pitch if you want me in this club.

You're right about his staff, my guess is Davis was the best we could get with the money Lurie was willing to spend.
