Why do you want to trade Mac so bad... I am tired of reading about Mac gettting traded or should be traded or hes a big baby or gets hurt all the time or he did not meet up to the 1 round pick... Folks he first needs to be in the slot that is the first thing.... Then we need to draft a Da'Rick Rogers or Quinton Patton in the 3rd round or late 2nd to fill out or WR group... with Djac, JMac, Cooper, Johnson, Avant and one of those guys i mentioned i think we wil have the best WR group in the league... and i think we will use our WR like the GB Packers use theres.... But Trading JMac is not smart... becasue he is 25 years old (start of the season) why would you get ride of a guy who has put up better numbers then any # 2 WR in the game for someone who is older like Bowe who will be 29 after the 3rd game of the season.... Someone tell  me why you make this trade...

Are you serious about wanting to rid him? Or you just wondering in general?   I wouldnt take just a 3rd, but a 2nd is too much. Maybe a 3rd and 5th.

No reason to rid him though. Even for being soft he's productive

this clearly leads to a vick vs foles discussion like every other thread so ill start

maclin has been "average" bc hus QB (vick) has sucked
maclin was almost a stud with foles running the show

Lemme guess.....too small, always gets hurt, drops the ball, might have AIDS, is a free agent after the season and wants too much money,.....what else...

I feel like he is way more valuable to us than whatever he would net us in a trade (probably a second or third rounder).

Maclin is a good receiver but I don't look at him as being great. He's not the type of receiver that makes defenses wonder where he is even before the huddle is broken. My problem with Maclin is that there are times where it seems like he's a bit on the soft side, he's a bit too inconsistent, and isn't a game changing wide receiver. I think the perfect complement to Jackson would be somebody who'd be able to take over a game, dictate what the secondary will do and can just change the outcome of a game on his own.

These guys are not readily available at the drop of a dime... Maclin is sneaky good... ignore him then bam 180 yard multi td receiving day.

Ok

The condition could make it a 2nd or a 4th depending on whether you're optimistic or pessimistic. ^_^

Nobody's giving up a 1st or a high 2nd for him.  He's not a Pro Bowl-caliber player.

The EAgles should trade Maclin asap.  The EAgles are not going to pay him after this year, and he is going to walk in free agency, and eagles will get nothing in return.  Maclin has been ok, but not spectacular.

Tedd ginn would be a nice pick up and The raiders are going to release Heyward-Bay.  The EAgles could pick either one of those guys up for cheap.

They trade Maclin and their third to get back in the 2nd round this year and draft John Cyprien.  I bet carolina would go for that deal

the eaGLES would be stupid to trade maclin.  what the eaGLES really need to do is stop Fing around with this athletic QB nonsense and play the guy that actually knows how do what a quarterback needs to do.

you dont draft a WR in the first that is just a slot guy

you can find slot guys in the later rounds...

I love how fickle and short sighted fans are....we cry for years for a good receiver through the Thrash/Pinkston/FredEx years, now we want to get rid of a pretty good one.

Im still keeping Maclin, draft WR or get a WR via free agency. Ginn is done and Bey gets injured as much or more then Maclin. Neither are as good as Maclin, if Maclin had Ginns size, Maclin would be really good.

much rather keep Maclin who is a true secondary WR and move Jackson who is not a true number one like he's paid to be.  then bring in a #1
