With all due respect, and how many super bowls have the Eagles won even with Jimmy Johnson, Bill Davis had plenty opportunity to prove himself, Pat Shurmur I liked but Childress would have been a better hire and u are asking a bunch of college coaches to coach bunch of highly paid divas oh I forget Southland did coach a group of highly paid athletes at AL U. This staff has to be ranked as one of the least accomplished in the history of the Eagles, past performance in your previous job is an indicator as to how you will perform in the future.

How come so many NFL coaches are FAT? The NBA coaches are mostly slim and look like they are in shape.

Graham should be able to keep doing his thing as the predator now. It's about as close as you could get between what has been asked of him anyway. Trent should be solid there as well especially on possible run plays. Trent should be one of leading guys for that opposite DE spot though. Vinny will fit right in at both DE spots. We finally are going to get to see him. Get that nose and that strong side linebacker hybrid player are musts. Usually with the Under you attack with one of your safeties. Upgrading the secondary is a must as well. That first pick has to go on a olb. The team can trade back some but must get an incredible athlete. Obviously this is too much for one offseason. Get the rush olb tops the list. having Graham on one outside and that blue chipper on the other could cover up for so many flaws.

It seems like no one is happy with any facet of the Eagles Team (Coaches, QB, O-LIne, Defense,....). Maybe we should just move the team out of Philly? Perhaps to Parker, PA?

The 4-3 Under protects the weakside backer so Kendricks is going to be relied on to be the playmaker which is about as custom a setup for this team as you can get

Wood, my 2 cents on some of these topics ...
1. 3-4 or 4-3 ...I think in either scheme the needs of the front 7 are the same. SAM & DT/NT. The key will be if we get those 2 pieces, not so much the scheme. But I want the NT so I hope for 3-4 or the hot word "hybrid"
2. Djax, I think the $8mil in dead money will keep him on the roster this year. The good thing is Chip has no ties to him, so he will have to earn it. He's not a #1, unfortunately he is paid like it, ..great once he has the ball, but he struggles to get it. Ideal speed slot guy, occasional handoffs and trick plays/ punt returner for me. He needs a pay cut and a #1 to play next too. Don't see it happening here. 2 more years here max.
3. Nnamdi. Still decent cover guy, but brutal ball skills. Doesn't work for us because 4 games vs Eli & Romo who will throw into coverage. His strength is when QBs don't go at him. He will give up catches even when he is right there to make plays. Weird dynamic to me?? But $15.3 mil to keep, only $4 mil to cut... tells me he is out. He may restructure, but it will depend on if they go after DRC in FA. If they make DRC an offer, they prob won't want to keep Nnamdi. I wouldn't mind them getting 2 new CBs, but I would take the younger & cheaper DRC is this stage of the rebuild. The DRC / Billy Davis connection form 2009 leads me to believe they will go that route.

Wood, I recognize your points about Vick not seeing the blitz and the fumbles are not acceptable. However, do you really believe Foles can run any kind of Chip Kelly offense? I don't. It may be a horrendous 2013 because the team still has no marque QB.
I dont disagree about dJackson. He is like Asante....plays when he wants and cant take a hit.
I also agree with dBell. The guy was simply awful.
I dont agree with Nnamdi. He played very poorly in 2012, but he is a better player than that. I must believe some of it was coaching and plays called. I have seen him be a shutdown corner and he is not old. 2013 will be much better for him. Now new DC, please BLITZ! Knock the opposing QB on his butt a LOT!
