EVEN IF The Eagles go 4-12 again this year, no panicking

In fact, there once was a coach now in the Hall of Fame who went 3-12-1 in his first season. Name him!
That's why I would not panic.

This. Although record isn't that important I wanna see improvement in some areas. To be honest i'd still like us to get around 6ish wins but I realise we're rebuilding.

Agreed. The record isn't that important. 4-12 last season was flattering given the level of performance. The right attitude is more important than the number of wins. (Though, we'd all like to see more than 4 for sure).
As long as the signs are encouraging, Kelly will be safe even with multiple seasons outside the play offs.

Listen, if there were a few really really good teams and the NFC east was a top division then yes, 3-4-5 wins would be understandable. But sorry that is not close to the case.

Parcells IIRC. Vermeil went 4-10 his first year, Bill Walsh had a horrible first year with the Niners, Jimmy Johnson was 1-15 his first year.

Last years team just fell apart.....

I want the Chip Kelly experiment to work out, he seems like a bright guy and willing to put the work in, something most college coaches coming to the NFL have a hard time doing. But if this guy goes 4-12 next year and anything less than 8-8 the following year he'll probably be back in college. USC will probably be canning Kiffin next year, if they do one of the first calls they make is to Kelly, same for Texas if they are looking for a new coach.
The worst the Eagles should be next year is 8-8. Once you start a culture of losing its a hard habit to break. Just ask the Browns fans, Jaguar fans, Bills fans, and Chiefs fans.

...1 year away from a Super Bowl victory, the Giants headline the weakest division in the entire NFL. Who were beat by the Redskins and RG3. Wow. I don't know what league you're watching.

They don't have the players for Kelly's system here yet. And the defense will probably take 2 years just to re-assemble for a 3-4.
Im not expecting much of anything for at least 2 years.

The 2011 team wasn't any better than this one.
Last yr was just a disaster all the way around.

Yep!
Point is, Parcells (and also Bill Walsh and Jimmy Johnson) had terrible first seasons as HC. Parcells of course in year two got the Giants to 9-7 and a playoff win in LA over a Rams team that thumped them there in the regular season before losing to the eventual champion 49ers.

If we use 4-3 defense, 8-8
Unless we have Vick as our qb, which in both cases would end up 0-16

I want 1-2 long term defensive probowl playmakers from this draft. It don't care if it's a tall order. Short term, I can be patient with Chip.

Lmfao.
Because the Average at best Giants team somehow won the SB last year that makes the NFC East good ?? I will assume your just trying to be funny.
The Eagles stunk.
The Cowboys were a comedy of errors with a horrid OL, a terrible defense and a bunch of lost coaches.
The Redskins were just as bad as the Eagles.
And the Giants had a bad OL, an average running game to go along with their lousy defense and were basically a .500 team.
Please enlighten me with a division worse then the NFC east last year.

Tthen you have KC, Chitcago, Arizona, Oakland, Tampa Bay Some of the others are more difficult.
So I would think 8-8 is reasonable, but depends on how much they tear apart, or improve on what we have. I think they will improve on what we have and get the most out of who is here.
8-8 or even 9-7 is not unrealistic expectation.

But the reality is that this Eagles team has some very good talent, in Offence Shady and Brown are two RBs that can really dominate, our WRs are above average with flashes of greatness, the OLine with all the pieces back and maybe some a new guy in can be good if not great. The QB is the real ??.
In D we have some issues but also some talent so, it I don't think the record will be 4-12 again, I think they will improve that just by playing as a team.
