Mike Max of CBS Minnesota reports that the Vikings will indeed attempt to trade Percy Harvin this offseason.
Citing "sources," Max reports that Harvin unleashed an "embarrassing" tirade on coach Leslie Frazier during the season, and the episode not only alienated coaches but Harvin's teammates, as well. The sides now appear headed for divorce, even if the Vikings deny it vehemently so as to avoid losing trade leverage. Harvin had a similar incident with ex-Vikings coach Brad Childress. Although acquiring a first-rounder for Harvin may prove too difficult, Minnesota figures to ask for at least a second-rounder and some change.

I personally would want a bigger/stronger WR, but I could see Chip being interested in a guy with his versatility. Depending on price, I'd be somewhat interested.

I will tell you what Percy Harvin would be Chip Kelly's wet dream and if I were the Eagles I would do anything to mke a trade for him.  I would even trade Desean Jackson for Harvin which I think would be a good trade for both teams.

Knew this would go up as soon as I saw it on rotoworld.  He's one of my favorite receivers in the NFL, but I don't see us trading for him.  A really rare talent, but I think Kelly is probably going to try to use Desean in more of that kind of role and use the picks to rebuild our defense/maybe a TE.  Plus he'd most likely require a monster contract only a year from now.

That being said I would be ecstatic to have him on the Eagles. If we got him/signed him long-term, let Maclin walk, and draft a TE we would have a scary offense.

Wonder which team he would land. As he does have a problem with his health and migraine issues. But he is an awesome PR/WR!

I know we have more needs and stuff but come on. Imagine Harvin, Jackson, Maclin, Avant, Cooper and Johnson.

+ Shady, Byrce and Lewis maybe or Polk.

Jesus christ we'd be an absolute nightmare to defend against.

Maclin + a 3rd...total low-ball offer but I can dream. If it's already known that they have to move him due to clubhouse problems it hurts their bargaining a bit.  I imagine the team trading for him will want to see how amenable he is to extension talks before getting him.

I can see the Eagles looking into it. Chip is probably drooling a little thinking about having Percy.

Toward the end of the 2012 season, one NFL personnel man estimated that Percy Harvin will probably fetch a second- or third-round pick on the trade market.

Harvin is theoretically every bit worth a first-rounder -- perhaps even a top-ten pick -- but the facts that he's entering a contract year, and comes with character and injury red flags will inevitably impact his trade value. We suspect GM Rick Spielman would happily accept a second- and fourth-round pick as compensation, but the bidding could grow fierce for such a dynamic talent. NFL trades can be executed beginning March 12, the first day of free agency.

Would help out team but I think the Vikes want too much for him and a rebuilding team doesn't need to give up a lot for a position we have.  Also, why would we trade Desean for him?  Jackson is better

Not even close to being true.

You can make an argument that he's a head case, or hsi contract is almost up, or we have more pressing needs, or not enough cap space, etc.  But saying Jackson is better is just flat out wrong.

Would you want him?

I would give up Maclin and maybe a 7th.

Thoughts?

Before getting hurt (ankle/appendicitis) this year he missed a total of 3 games I believe.  His migraine issues were way overblown.
