Actually you can reference any Philadelpia Eagle's depth chart available you'd like right now and I'm more than willing to bet dollars to donuts that you can't produce even one that has him listed anywhere but at WILL (an "OLB" position in a 4-3 alignment), as well as every roster having him listed simply as a "LB" the same as every other "LB" (regardless of iif they've played nside or outside) they have listed.

But WTF ace  , why do you feel so strongly that your "opinion" on 2/17/2013 concerning not only what defense(s) the 2013 Birds will line up in, but exactly who will be manning every position (while aso having this what appears like an obsession to pigeonhole ever player on the depth chart into a single, unquestionable "position label") but are getting all bent out of shape because your opinion is not being accepted as gospel?

Bottom line: We only have to wait until the season to see who is actually still on the roster, what position(s) they play and how many snaps they play at said position(s) before you'll realize that what has been discussed, at least by those who didn't try to cram their opinion down everybody's throat as if it were "statement of fact" were just speculating on potential roster configurations. :nonono:

Don't turn this around on me dude. I was just pointing out that you said in your first post that The eagles should go after an ILB when we don't need one. You're the one who's trying to shove your opinion down my throat.

In your mind "We don't need one" but only because (according to you) "it's a done deal that Kendricks and Ryans will be the starting ILBs on the 2013 Philadelphia Eagles when they play a 3 - 4 defense", however you'll forgive me if I prefer to wait until not only is that announcement  officially made by the team's FO/coaching staff but I actually see those 2 players take the field at those positions on opening day before I just blindly accept your layman's "opinion" as irrefutable fact.

So again (but for the last time) I have to ask "why is it so important to you that your opinion be accepted as the gospel truth" at this point in the offseason, or perhaps it's just that you don't really comprehend the difference between statement of opinion and statement of fact?

Kendrick is 5'11, 239, he might be an ILB in the Eagles 3-4, but he will get trucked, guy just does not fit the 3-4, I hoever expect Brandon Graham to flourish as a OLB in the 3-4

There's been considerable speculation in the media that they will, but the team has made no official announcement.

Their defense has always 'looked' like it was built for the 3-4 to me...

That's TATE's misconception, because they think all of our DE's are too small, when in fact they are on par size wise with pretty much every 4-3 team in the NFL, except Allen, Williams, , Peppers and JPP. Then they see guys like JJ Watt and cry and don't realize he's in a 3-4 D, then say he got sacks galore and don't realize Phillip's 3-4 D allows their DL men to rush the passer, then will realize he won't have that kinda of season again just like JJP this past year from his previous year where he was the next Reggie White.

You have DE's that have the frames of 3-4 OLBs...but then you would need to draft massive 3-4 DEs, bigger ILBs and a mammoth NT.

Tapp is too squat, Cole does'nt like standing up or dropping into coverage ( tried it atthe combine and did'nt like it), Graham would need to shed some weight, Hunt?, Curry, perhaps?, we do have 2 DL that could play DE in a 3-4 (Jenkins & Cox), other than that there's a lot of questions on who will play where?. Add in thefact Davis runs a whacky hybrid scheme I do not like. I prefer the conventional 3-4

I just want us to spend the money smartly. The spending spree of 2011 they were spending like ppl do during madden. If they were a major name, the Eagles outbid everyone.
