No. Only way I do a 4th this year is if he throws in a 3rd/4th next year.

Leave it. Unless he IS actually traded, Nick will see the field again and if I had to guess he would only improve his stock.

Nope. We know Foles is good value as a 4th rounder. Why take a chance that they guy we'd choose would be as good value?

No. Foles showed some good pocket awareness and nice tough last year. In this league your backup QB is important. Foles still has plenty of upside and can get the job done in a pinch.

Surely even after Nick doesnt get to start, because we do things bass ackwards around here, that Kelly would be smart enough to have a "last resort" .  Mike Vick and Dennis Dixon isnt going to get past Week 9 or 10. Either due to ish play or injury. Maybe then Foles comes in shows some more progression and at that point either Kelly gets it or he doesnt. Im sure Kelly is the type of person that cant be told anything. He has to witness it 1st hand and at this point maybe he reconsiders what he "thought" he knew about football.

No you cant have a promising young QB for a 4th round pick this year. Maybe other years when the draft is loaded but not this year. I need to know what I got with Foles and this season you have very limited options unless you really just go with Geno in the first. So because of the piss poor QB draft you have to make this deal a little bit better.

How about my counter offer of your first round number one pick for our first round number 4 and Michael Vick?

If you're asking me if I'D do it, no. I'd actually give Foles a fair shot to prove himself one way or the other. Now if you're asking me if Kelly should do it, well if he's not going to run an offense conducive to Foles' abilities, then yes, take the deal since any pick you get from KC is going to be the first of that round anyway.

According to USA Today, the Chiefs are interested in trading for Nick Foles should he become available.

It's the first concrete report actually saying Kansas City is interested, while the rest have been speculation and dot connecting. USA Today's source says the Chiefs are "working on plans to add a quarterback," and Foles is one of the possibilities. Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com recently stated coach Andy Reid and OC Doug Pederson are "very high" on Foles' future. Matt Cassel is expected to be released, and if the Eagles make Foles available, he could likely be had for a mid-round pick.

All of you guys are f-ing idiots.

A 4th???  He was a 3rd last year, in a QB rich draft.  He showed he can play.  It is a horrible draft for QB this year.  If this isn't a sellers market I don't know what is.  2nd rounder or STFU!

BO, I trust you are kidding.

TATE might think he is the next joe montana but the truth is hes nick foles, 1-6 as a starter in the NFL.

Lets look at this a different way... You love Mike Vick. In your eyes he is a terrific QB. That tells me that you love him for some hidden/secret reason OR you evaluate the QB position poorly.

This is hypothetical, but lets say Foles gets traded and has a great career. 3-4 playoff wins.  That would be more than the 1st round 1st overall pick that is Mike Vick... Tebow has a more impressive resume' in terms of playoffs than Vick. Sanchez has more playoff wins than Vick.

Point is Foles has a good skill set and size and in comparison to the QB's coming out this year, he's the better choice. I certainly wouldnt waste my #1 overall on a Geno Smith, when Foles could be had for a 2nd.

^That^ is you calling someone a bum because of the win/loss record. Reality is there is many other factors that play into those wins and losses. So one would have to actually WATCH every game, every snap ( like me), and then critique players individually. Shady played a couple games on that 1-6 stretch, is he a bum as well? Like I said, I watched and saw a rookie QB come into an impossible situation when everything was already lost. Nothing was left to play for and we were already the laughing stock of the NFL. No he didnt get many wins, but I do believe we finished 4-12, and its not like he took over an undefeated team. He played/started under the worse conditions imaginable. We have few and far between in terms of Pro Bowlers. He played without ALOT of key starters on an already bad team. As a rookie he went and pumped up his struggling/depleated O-Line, which I thought showed his maturity level at such a young age. How many times has Mike done this? Im not saying its something that is a must, but its certainly reassuring that he cares about more than himself.

If your gonna sit there and act like your NOT his #1 fan and you havent been swinging from his sack then your gonna lose all credibility with me. Maybe you never said it DIRECTLY, but its quite obvious what you insinuate by a vast majority of your posts regarding the Eagles QB's.
