Hey Dave - With all the annoncements of staff updates, I haven't seen Harold Carmichael's name mentioned.  Is he still serving as Director of Player Development and Alumni?

If only there was a page that listed such information:  http://www.philadelp...team/staff.html

Don't you just love when we can answer our own questions? ;)

Philadelphia was once the manufacturing capital of the world. When Harold was playing for the Eagles the manufacturing capital was long gone. No one pays anymore attention to Philly either way. The only thing of great international importance was when Ed Van Imp took out that Red Army dude with that check, other than that, Philly is one big playground for thugs. New York is definitely headed in our direction, with all the finances now tied up in the Baltimore DC area, the only thing NYC's mayor has left to do is regulate the size and kind of drink one can buy or have in his dirty city.

He runs the player programs and has a voice in the alumni program as well.

He's always been one of my favorites, and I always look for him on the sidelines during games [since he's so easily spotted, towering over everyone else].

Here he is signing an autograph for a lil Drinkin' after an Eagles basketball game in the late 70's:
