The Fins are in a prime position to move up....  Having 2, 3rd rd selections # 77- # 82.....  They have a couple guys hitting FA and need to move up and grab one... OT/CB ....

They pay a handsome price to secure #4.

Both their thirds and their 4th.... and a 2014 6th.

#12.   Kenny Vaccaro   SS   6'1" 216     Vaccaro makes our secondary better instantly.

#35.   Ryan Logan CB   6'0" 191   Logan had a massive Sr season at RU....

#67.   Margus Hunt   6'8"  290  DE    Massive ball swatting Estonian with huge huge upside.

#77.   Da'Rick Rogers  WR   6'3" 215   An investment into the WR corps would be wise.

#82.   David Amerson   CB   6'2"  192    Loading up on CB talent cant be a wasted selection.

Rd4.   Brian Schwenke   C   6'3" 308 Interior, real comp.,   for the job.

Rd4.   Menelike Watson  ORT/OG    6'5"  321    Maby the strongest T coming out....Upside Big.

With 4 selections to be made.....Take your pick.

I feel ive upgradesd our seconday a bunch.  Drafted a monster at DE....  A monster WR.... And high quality OL depth.   I believe LB's galore will appear in FA.... So I left early picks at LB out of this mock.

No way do you trade down with Miami without getting one of their 2nd round picks.

Not a fan of this.  No DT impact, barely OL help, essentially a couple DB's and some depth.  Sorry just not liking this.

Also, Ryan is a Junior not a Senior.

I dont like it much either but also who is your other S opening day Allen ? no thanks I would take Elam with our own 2nd hopefully and then get Goldson or Moore if possible in FA, we need 2 safeties not one to make this secondary better. also you dont have us taking a DT at all , you think going to a 3-4 / 4-3 under we dont need a stud DT or you think we have it on the team already , i dont , we need Star , Richardson , Shariff or Hankins some where in there day one

Don't like it either. Sorry! Kenny Vaccaro at 12?? He might not even be a top 20 pick, let alone take him at 12. Would rather take Elam or Cyprien in the second round over him! No stud NT, no stud OLB?! All huge needs if we convert to a 4-3 under or 3-4 defense. There is not one pick I really like...

No way do we give up the #4 pick without obtaining at least a 2nd rounder. I think a legitiment trade would be the #4 for #12, #42, and #108 (Miami's 1st, 2nd, & 4th).

4 for 12, 54 and 77 also works on the value chart.

Still, the initial trade makes a lot of sense.  The Dolphins will probably have to replace Jake Long and they have the ammunition to move up.

I'd rather go with someone like Jordan, Mingo, or Ansah at 12

This is my first mock ever to have us going S early...... FA S's will be far and few if your looking for a starter....

Vaccaro has gone in the top 20 in most of the mocks I've seen for weeks now. Crypien has made has way into the 1st round in some too. My opinion on this draft would highly depend on our actions in free agency.

I agree. Byrd is likely to be re-signed before the league year. I'm not very high on Goldson. I think he's quite overrated. Chung and Delmas both have a significant injury history. Wilson, Woodson and Reed are too old to be anything of value in our defense. Quin, Moore and Phillips are all likely to stay put as well.

If you are gonna reach at 12, may as well be Xavier Rhodes.

Vaccaro is climbing draft boards and some mocks have him in the top 10. I used to think he could be had in the 2nd but it looks like he is a sure fire middle-of-the-first round pick.

Might as well be but still don't like the idea of selecting him 12th overall. Talentwise the dropoff between him and, let's say, Elam, Cyprien, Thomas and Reid isn't that big. I'm really convinced that we should wait untill the second round to pick a safety. One of them...maybe all of them, might be there... First round pick should be a stud OT (Joeckel or Fisher), NT (Lotulalei), CB (Milliner or Rhodes) or OLB (Jordan, Jones, Mingo or Ansah).

I admit, Its a 5-10 pick reach.....    Again looking at FA....The top three will get locked up.....  Now we gotta get a good one.
